Can I get a hallelujah and an amen that the weather has been super gorgeous lately and actually feels more like summer that spring right now!! Don’t get me wrong, I love spring but I can totally do without all the pollen and allergy headaches. Ugh.
It has been so gorgeous lately that last week Rebekah and I took a day trip to Hot Springs and toured Garvan Gardens (full blog post to come later in the week) that morning and did some shopping that afternoon. I haven’t been to Garvan Gardens in a few years and I was completely blown away by how pretty it is! We were there all morning and only saw about half of it. There will definitely be another trip coming up soon!
After Garvan Gardens we went downtown Hot Springs and did some shopping! There’s not much I love more than a girls day out and some good shopping…except maybe finding a good deal!! Y’all know how much I love a good deal, right??!!
On our way home from Hot Springs we hit up McDonalds’s because we were in dire need of some juicy burgers and a crisp Diet Coke after our day out in the hot sun and this yummy goodness hit the spot! I have absolutely no shame in admitting that I ate my burger, drank my Diet Coke, and promptly took a nap on the couch with my Sophie pup. HA! What can I say, McD’s is yummy and sleep-inducing…for me at least!
Did you know that McDonalds Money Monopoly started back up recently?? I used to be obsessed with playing in high school and was always convinced I was going to win big! I may or may not have done a little fist pump in the car when both my Big Mac and my medium Diet Coke came with game pieces.

- 20 piece Chicken McNugget
- Large Fries
- Medium Soft Drink

- any of the Egg McMuffin Sandwiches

You may notice the wording on this year’s game is a little different, it’s called Money Monopoly this year and for a good reason! In years past prizes have included electronics, trips, homes, etc but this year the only prize is MONEY! There are prizes from $50 to the grand prize of $1000000 ands everything in between!! So what are you waiting for?! Get out there and grab some yummy food and get to winning!!

I’m so glad the Monopoly game is back! I’m at McDonald’s at least a couple of times a week, and I LOVE it when they start up this game.

I can’t remember the last time I visited a McDonalds. It’s interesting that they changed their Monopoly game to all money prizes, but it does make more sense with the actual game.
What a fun way to win some cash prizes. That grand prize is huge! I’d be happy to win even the smaller prizes though.
I have collected a few game pieces already. So far I’ve one medium fries and flurry. I’m sure we will go after some McDonald’s soon.

Garven Gardens sounds beautiful. I haven’t done the McDonalds monopoly, I probably don’t eat out enough to benefit from it. But anything that gets you free merchandise/meals is cool!
I can give you an amen! The cold is so daunting sometimes. I feel better all the way around when it’s warm outside for me to be able to get out and feel the sunshine!

McDonald’s and Monopoly have been doing this for so long. It seriously was something I looked forward too when I was growing up. My husband has a bunch of the pieces now. Not a big winner yet.
I remember being excited to check out the Monopoly tickets on my McDonald’s food when I was younger. I haven’t played in a long time, but will have to stop and snag lunch soon to see how I do! lol

I was actually kind of upset bc I LOVE Monopoly at Mcdonalds and the last 2 times I went I got the big mc and by the time i got home to eat it, it didn’t have the game pieces on them :(
