November Birchbox

This post contains affiliate links.

How is it already the last day of November?? The school semester is coming to a close, finals are almost here, I need to decorate for Christmas, and I have a whole list of things to accomplish before school starts up again in January. But forget all of that, today I am here to talk about my November Birchbox!! Woohoo!!

novbirchbox

I am still loving my Birchbox way more than I ever loved my Ipsy bag. I think it’s because you get the option to choose an time? Or you can choose to get the designer’s choice bag and know exactly what you are getting? I did that this month, and chose the designer box again in December so maybe I just need to be able to choose and that makes me happy? I am such a weirdo.

novbirchbox2

I have been a hair and skincare kick lately and I love seeing those items in my Birchbox. In fact I picked this box solely because it has a dry shampoo that I have been wanting to try. That’s bad y’all!! LOL!!

So what all came in my box this month? Let’s check it out…

novbirchbox3

Avène Hydrance Optimale Hydrating Serum / LOC One & Done Shadow Stick / Shiseido ULTIMUNE EYE Power Infusing Eye Concentrate / Jouer Lip Enhancer / Living proof.® Perfect hair Day™(PhD) dry shampoo

Ok, so the dry shampoo was the whole reason I ordered this box and it does NOT disappoint. I have been wanting to try the Living Proof products for a while now because, hello, who doesn’t want have like Jenn Aniston??!! The dry shampoo sprays evenly, doesn’t leave a build up feeling in your hair, and smells amazing!!! The best part? It’s only $22 for a full sized bottle which is so much better than my Oribe that is $42.

I also tried the Shiseido Eye Concentrate and love it!! I have been looking for a great eye cream to use at night and this just may be it. I don’t like heavy products on my face and this concentrate is more of a gel/cream and isn’t heavy at all. It also smells great but not too overpowering on my face.

I haven’t tried the other products yet but I can’t wait!!

Also-today Birchbox is offering 25% off your total purchase of $35 or more using code PARTYON and I think this includes subscriptions?? Check it out!!!

Are you a Birchbox subscriber??

I’ll have the try the Living Proof dry shampoo. I haven’t been very happy with some of the brands I’ve tried. I don’t have a subscription to Birchbox, but I’ve gifted several to friends and family. And they all loved them.

The Living Proof dry shampoo smells like Heaven. Or what I think Heaven will smell like, LOL!! Plus it works and has a great price point for being an “expensive” brand!

I love dry shampoos and texturizing sprays. I used to wash my hair and style it every single day. Now I wash it on Monday and Thursday and that’s it.

I haven’t tried dry shampoo, but I really want to. Not so much for me as for my kids. I think it would be great for those days when they don’t have time to wash their hair in the shower!

I am too nervous to try dry shampoo. However a friend of mine recently told me that she has been using it for the past 12 months and loves it. And her hair looks super nice, and has a nice healthy shine to it as well.

I saw a commercial for BirchBox and wanted to give it a try. So, the dry shampoo is what strikes my curiosity. Is it like the astronaut shampoo and what are its benefits? Maybe this is something I can get for my oldest son who constantly avoids washing his hair. With your blog being a reminder I will definitely sign up to receive a BirchBox. Thank you for sharing.
