A few weeks ago I told you all about what I have been reading lately and now today I am going to tell you what’s on my list to read this summer. During the school year I am busy with classes so I don’t get to read much for fun so I try and read as much as I can during the summer!
So what’s on my reading list? Let’s see…
First up- Killing Monica by Candace Bushnell. I got hooked on Sex and the City when it debuted on TBS a long time ago and have been a Candace Bushnell fan ever since. I have bought and watched all the seasons, seen all the movies, gone on the Sex and the City tour in NYC, and watched Lipstick Jungle when it was on TV. I have all of her books and love them all. I’m sure Killing Monica will be great too!!
I am honestly surprised I haven’t read any of the books that go with the Harry Potter series. Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them will be a movie next year and so I need to jump on this one soon!! And then I will get the others, duh.
I fell in love with Kristin Hannah books after reading Firefly Lane. If you want a good cry then go read that one ASAP. I have read a ton of her books since then and I love them all. I can’t wait to read The Nightingale.
Who loves Harper Lee?? I sure do!! I was soooo excited when I found out the manuscript for Go Set A Watchman was found and being published but I have yet to read it. I suck. LOL!! I will get to it!!
Do you remember when Stephanie Meyer was going to release Edward’s version of Twilight and then it got leaked and she got pissed and it never got released? Yeah, I’m still a little mad about that but I am pumped up about reading Grey!! I can’t wait to read Christian’s version of 50 Shades and maybe learn a little bit more about him? Something needs to tide me over until the 2017 release of the next movie. Ugh.
Do you make a summer reading list??
What’s on your to-read list??

Sounds like some great choices. I truly do not enjoy reading, but every now and then I will bring a book with me to the beach :)

Great list! I need to make my own summer reading list, but I wouldn’t know where to start. There are so many great books out now! I love the idea of books being written from an alternate perspective like Grey. I’m not a 50 Shades fan, but there are a few other stories I’d like to see written from another character’s view.

I”m an avid reader. I’ve always said, “When you cease to read, you cease to learn.” That’s my excuse, anyway. :) I can hardly wait to read Harper Lee’s new book! These all sound like great summer reads, Ricci!

I finished The Nightingale, which was first on my summer reading list. I am now onto A Sparrow in Terezin which is really good so far. I have a huge list, but I love to read :)

This is a great line up of books to read. Grey sounds like a book that I would enjoy reading the most from the lineup. I didn’t even know they were coming out with a new movie for the series.
