Dallas Trip – Part One

This post contains affiliate links.

Last week my girl Rebekah and I went to Dallas to see Maroon 5!!! I have to admit that I only liked them before seeing them live and now I’m in love!! Sugar is my jam y’all!!

We got to Dallas Monday afternoon and hit up Northpark Mall and Dry Bar first thing!! Rebekah introduced me to Nordstrom and I may go broke because of it. LOL!!

Y’all know I love a good blowout, right? While we were there I got Dry Bar’s new-ish dry shampoo/texturizing spray/refresher spray, Triple Sec. It smells amazing and I am a huge fan already!!

After Dry Bar we hit up The Rustic for lunch. I think The Rustic is pretty new and let me tell you, it was amazing! The atmosphere was wonderful, it wasn’t too crowded for a late lunch, the food is made with local ingredients and I will definitely be going back the next time I’m in Dallas.

We started with The Double Dip for an appetizer, y’all know I love me some dips, which consisted of homemade smoked salt potato chips, creamy corn queso, and rustic onion-y dip! DELISH!

My main course was the Grilled Chicken Breast sandwich. It has avocado, ranch, green tomato, and cracklin’s on a wheat bun. I took my cracklin’ off but if that’s your thing then I say go for it.

I had a Bloody Mary to drink and it was the perfect blend of spice and yummy. I have been on a Bloody Mary kick lately…

After stuffing ourselves silly we checked into our hotel. We stayed at the W Dallas Victory which was literally steps away from the American Airlines Center which was where the concert was held. I highly suggest staying there if you are going to an event at the AA Center. Who wants to drive when you can just walk?

Back to our hotel, I had never stayed in a W Hotel so I didn’t know what to expect. Let’s just say that I was blown away. We had people meet us at the car and open our doors and load all of our luggage and take it to the room for us. We had valet parking. When I checked in the sweet girl behind the counter wished me a belated Happy Birthday. The beds were so awesome we passed out for two hours before the concert started. The room was stocked with Bliss products for us to use. The bathtub was DEEP and it had a rain-shower head! It was amazing! I really wish I had taken pics of our room, bad blogger!!

After our little siesta we got all dolled up and were ready to go see Adam!! We took a few selfies at the hotel…
