…thinking about all of the things I need to do when I get home. I took my last final on Tuesday and killed it so tomorrow I get to play catch up on all the things I have been slacking on at home. I have a mountain of clean laundry that has been hanging out on my love seat for the past week. Sophie will be sorely disappointed because she has been using that mountain of clean laundry to nap on when I’m gone. Crazy dog. I also need to wrap the mountain of Christmas presents currently taking up residence on my kitchen table. #MountainsOfThingsToDo

…wishing tomorrow night would hurry up and get here because it’s Grandma’s Christmas and I get to see all my sweet babies!! I’m also bring the fancy camera and hopefully breaking it in good. I can’t wait to start feeling comfortable using it. It’s got a learning curve that’s for sure.
…excited about some projects I have coming up!! I feel like I am in a good place on this blog and I can’t wait to see what else I can do. 2015 is going to be all about expansion and I can’t wait!!
…missing drive through liquor stores. My family lives about 2 miles from the Louisiana border and so when I go home we always “make a run to the line” and grab some yummy drinks to go. You just can’t do that anywhere in Arkansas.
…waiting on my Christmas present to myself to be delivered!! It’s supposed to be there when I get home today! I can’t wait to share it with y’all!!
…loving the weather recently. It has been unusually warm for December this year and I am not complaining!! This time last year it was all snowy and icy and I really hope it doesn’t do that again this year. I get so nervous driving on that stuff!!
…craving this Cajun Shrimp and Sausage Pasta. I think this needs to be make another appearance at my house soon. I am so excited that with school begin out I will actually have time to cook good meals and do a little meal planning instead of eating on the fly or just whatever is quickest.

I had a friend go home to LA and post about the drive through liquor stores. Awesomeness, especially if home is close.
I recently got back from a trip to New Orleans and had a blast out there. I seen all the drive thru liquor stores but didn’t go to any of them.
Drive through daiquiri shops are my favorite thing about Louisiana!

Oh, the good ‘ol drive through liquor stores. Hahaha I believe they are a thing in Mississippi as well. Growin’ up my Paw Paw loved them.
