I usually don’t do weekend recaps because I usually work on the weekends…yuck! But this past weekend I was actually off work and I had a fabulous time!!
First, let me back up to Friday at work. I was in the ER…I hate working in the ER. It always BLOWS UP which, of course, it did. I was literally on my feet from 3:15pm until I walked out the door at 7:00pm. My back was KILLING me. I felt like I was walking like a hunchback when I finally got out of there. I stopped at the Sonic by my house to get a small Turtle Pecan Master Blast and when I made it home I ran the hottest bath I could and just soaked in it…with my Blast, duh.
After my bath I put some Plexus Fast Relief Cream on my back and snuggled my Sophie pup on the couch and promptly passed out until 1am and then put some more Fast Relief Cream on and crawled to bed and slept until 8am. It was glorious. I needed that sleep y’all. And when I finally woke up for the day my back felt like new again. I think it was the Blast. But it could have been the hot bath and Fast Relief Cream too. And the sleep. God bless the sleep.
Plexus has seriously helped me in ways that aren’t about weightloss at all. I LOVE my Plexus!!!
So on Saturday I met my girl, Rebekah for a late lunch at Chuy’s! I posted this pic on IG of my crazy teased up hair but I actually kinda like it. New profile pic?? Hmmm…
I had the BEST Peach Margarita!! I don’t know what Chuy’s does to their margaritas but they are seriously the best. And I don’t even really like margaritas. LOL!!
After lunch we did a little shopping and took a selfie at Ulta!!!
I have been needing a new eyeliner and picked up this beauty while we were at Ulta. I have to admit that I am a little intimidated by it but I plan on mastering it!! The lady at Ulta warned me that I would need an amazing eye makeup remover and luckily I discovered a great one last week. What is it you ask? Coconut Oil!!! Just rub some on your eyelids (with your eye makeup on) and swipe it off with a towel or cotton ball. Works like magic!
After we shopped until we dropped we went our separate ways and I came home and took a “nap” that lasted until 2am!! YIKES!! Needless to say I went straight to bed once I woke up from my so called nap.
On Sunday I woke up fairly early and went to the movies and saw Tammy…it was hilarious!!! I LOVE me some Melissa McCarthy!!! Side note- did you know Melissa McCarthy is Jenny McCarthy’s cousin??? I didn’t!!!
Anyway, when I got home from the movies I cleaned my house from top to bottom and even rearranged some furniture!! It’s amazing how changing a few pieces of furniture around will make you feel like you have a whole new space!!
Sophie got to test drive her new car seat when I delivered my old TV stand I sold on a Facebook garage sale group. I seriously love those online garage sales!!!
I think she loves that she can see out the windows. I think she doesn’t like being strapped in the seat for very long. Sorry sister…you gotta suck it up!! LOL!!
When I got home I decided to make my Spicy Tai Noodles. I haven’t made them in a while and decided to make it a true meal by adding chicken. I also topped it with peanuts and green onions. I seriously love me some green onions. They smell soooo good!!!

Last, but certainly not least, I found this pic on Pinterest and stuck it on IG. LOVE IT!!! BAHAHAHA!!!

Your puppy is just too cute! AND I might just have to see that movie this coming weekend. I enjoyed her comedy before when she played in The Heat with Sandra Bulluck. So, this is sure to be funny! (And I did know that about her being Jenny’s cousin. I heard it a while back. Cool, huh?)
Sounds like a fun weekend, especially the trip to Ulta (one of my favorite stores). My daughter can do a perfect cat eye or anything else with her eyeliner. I still with eyeliner pencils because I’m not that good at it.
My weekend was wonderful, too. Flew to St. Lucia on Saturday and I’m loving it. :)

Um. So I’ve never heard of this Turtle Blast but I doubt I need to say I’ve basically got one foot in the car now to go get one!
That eye liner looks amazing and I HAVE to try it now. Ulta here I come. (Luckily our sonic and Ulta are 5 mins from each other – I think they call that fate)
