I am soooo excited to share this post with you!!! As you all know, I went to BBC (Bloggy Boot Camp) in Dallas this past weekend. Rebekah and I left on Thursday afternoon and flew into Dallas. After driving to the last BBC in Charlotte NC last spring we decided the next time we went we would definitely be flying.
The flight was great and only took an hour…awesome!! When we got to the Dallas airport Kim was waiting there to pick us up!! FIrst thing on our agenda was food so we went to Freebird’s on the way to our hotel.
Freebird’s was amazing and if you haven’t tried it I would definitely recommend it. We got the smallest burritos and they were still too much!
The next morning we were off to North Park!! We stopped at Le Madeline’s for breakfast and I had the most amazing Bacon, Egg, and Cheese Croissant!! It was sooooo good!!!
Next up we went to Dry Bar to get our hair done. I LOVE Dry Bar!!!! Here is a little before pic…
…and here is the after!
I seriously love Dry Bar. THere is no better feeling than getting a blow out while sipping a mimosa (or two) and watching Clueless with two of your bloggy besties!
After Dry Bar we went back to the hotel and got ready for the conference. I was sooooo excited and a little nervous. I felt pretty prepared but you never know exactly what to expect.
It was funny because when we got in the conference room someone recognized me by my bag…LOL! Guess that means they read my What to Bring to a Blog Conference post? HA!
I heard some amazing speakers that first day (more on that later…that will be a whole post in itself) and most importantly actually met some of my fave bloggers!!!
I also met Tina!! Tina is the sweetest and I have gotten to know her pretty well through IG and her blog.
That night we went to a cocktail party sponsored by Collective Bias. Thank you CB for the yummy drinks and dinner!!
The next day was round two of the conference. It was AMAZING!!! I got to meet with some of the sponsors (again, more on all of them later) and got to hang out more with my new friends!!
Here is a pic of Kim and I at the Invisalign breakfast…
I was soooo super pumped to actually meet Kathy in person too…I “met” her through Kelley and have pinned tons of her pins so it was nice to meet the face behind the blog!
That afternoon we had some yummy mimosas and snacks provided by Kroger…thank you Kroger!!
We love mimosas, can you tell? LOL!
That night we went out to the Mirassou Wine Party!!
After the wine party Neely, Stephanie, Ashley, Kim, Rebekah, and I all went to Mi Cocina to eat. It was YUM!!!
The next day we had to be up waaaaaay too early to get to the airport. I was not ready to go home yet because I didn’t want to leave Dallas.
BBC was amazing and I can’t wait until my next one!!!
