Beauty Products: Hits and Misses

I have tried a few new beauty products lately and I wanted to share them with you! A few have been hits and I have had a miss or two…but overall I have used some great products lately!

 

Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara. I have to admit I really love the name and that may have been one reason I bought it but I absolutely LOVE this product. It takes my lashes from short and thin to long and thick instantly! It is amazing!! I love the brush too, it really coats every ash evenly!

This product is a HIT in my book!

Bliss Daily Detoxifying Facial Toner. I usually use Clinique toner but I wanted to try something new and had heard great things about the Bliss toner. It smells yummy but goes on more like a gel. It takes forever to dry and feels like it leaves a film on my face. My face has been constatnly breaking out since I started using it. YUCK!

This product is a MISS in my book.

Viva la Juicy. This is my signature fragrance. I always wear it and I ran out a month or two ago and tried some other perfumes that I had sitting around but I had to go back to my Viva. You just can’t beat it. It’s expensive but I like to think of it as an investment. Plus as I mentioned a minute ago, it’s my signature.

Rodan and Fields Mini Nighttime Facial. Kristyn from Carolina Fireflies sent me this sample and I am obsessed! It came with a microdermabrasion paste and a face serum and lip serum. It made my face soooo smooth and I wish I could afford to buy some!!

NARS Smudge Proof Eyeshadow Base.  I normally use the Urban Decay eyeshadow base but I recently got this as a sample from Sephora and am obsessed with it! It goes on smoothly and doesn’t make my eye lid “stiff” feeling. It also keeps my eyeshadow in place all day. LOVE!
