Midweek Catch Up

Midweek catch up time!!!I have been off work for the past four days and it has been wonderful!! My little sister came up Saturday and stayed the night with me. Even though we didn’t really do anything special it was nice to have her here. Sophie especially loved having someone new to play with and harass…lol!

Sunday after my sister went home I went to the grocery store and Target. Boring!! I used another Pinterest recipe and made Pizza Soup that afternoon. YUM!!

Monday Sophie let me sleep until 9am which is unheard of in my house. It felt sooooo good to sleep in! After I finally got up my friend Elizabeth came over and we went to Hobby Lobby so we could get crafty (is that a word?). As sad as this sounds that trip to HL was my third in a week. LOL

That afternoon we made scarves! I also revamped some old picture frames. I think they are too cute now! The scarf is actually from an old t-shirt and took all of 15 minutes to make and I LOVE it!!!

Tuesday I finally finished my fall/halloween wreath. It was almost the death of me. I really wanted to do it in orange burlap and HL said they were out but would be getting some on their next truck (this was 2 weeks ago) and they would call me when it was in. Well I never got a call so I went up there. Twice. They didn’t have it either time. So I called every fabric store in central Arkansas and everyone was out! So I wound up using orange broadcloth instead. I really love it now but I was soooo mad over the burlap.

I also finally finished my pumpkins. I just painted some polka dots on some, put some sequins on some, and I’m done! Hallelujah!
