Hi there! Long time no blog…
What can I say, life has been busy and I just haven’t felt like it. I don’t think most people knows what all goes into writing a blog post. First there’s the writing, then the editing, then the photos and of course editing those. Then there’s scheduling the post, scheduling and moderating all of the social media posts about the blog post, etc. It’s a LOT of work and I just haven’t felt like doing it lately.
If I’m being completely honest with you I did think about quitting for a HOT MINUTE but then I decided to keep it up. I have a few campaign commitments I need to complete and then there is the whole creative outlet part.
When I started blogging almost. NINE years ago it was because I needed a creative outlet and I needed friends and this blog has provided both for me and I will be forever grateful for that.
So anyway, I’m BACK and let’s get to what I’ve been up to in the past month.
In the past month I have been…
…getting ready for my Disney trip!! This 36 year old is going to Disney for the first time in her LIFE this week and I can’t wait!! After the trip I will share everything I took and if I used it or not. HA!
…watching ALL OF THE Avengers movies!! I watched Captain Marvel when it came out and LOVED it so much I decided I needed to see Avengers: Endgame but I hadn’t seen any of the other movies so I decided to watch them all before it came out. In chronological order. That’s right y’all this girl watched 22 movies over the span of two weeks and I cried my eyes out at Endgame. It was PHENOMENAL!!!
…also watching ALL OF THE NETFLIX shows and movies. So many good things have come out lately and trust me when I say that I watched them ALL. HA! #ProudMoment I think my fave Netflix Original movie that I watched was Someone Great with Gina Rodriguez (from Jane the Virgin). It is such a GREAT movie and I totally downloaded so many songs to jam out to. If you a great girlfriend movie in your life or just went through a tough breakup you HAVE to watch it!
…reading all of the books! And by read I mean I actually picked up books that have been sitting on my nightstand for forever and read them. So when I get read to write my April books post it won’t all be audiobooks or e-books! LOL!!
…spending some good, quality time with my family. I got to see my sweet nieces and two even stayed a weekend with me and I loved every single minute of it!
…making some AMAZING food!! Y’all know I have been using a meal prep service for most of my main meals but I was feeling myself and decided to make some yummy grilled chicken portion pasta and it was really good!! Maybe I’ll get around to posting the recipe one day. HA!
…working my ass off at Orange Theory! If you are following along on my Facebook page then you are probably tired of my posts about my workouts but I’m #SorryNotSorry because I have finally found a workout I LOVE and I’m going to keep showing up and doing it! I promise to have a full post about it coming up soon! And about my fave workout clothes because it’s tough to find good workout clothes as a plus size gal!
…going on long walks with my Sophie pup! This sweet girl turns EIGHT years old next month!! Where has the time gone???
…working a LOT lately. A lot pf people don’t know butt he spring and summer are the busy seasons in the NICU with all those Thanksgiving/Christmas/New Years babies being born early. HA!
And that friends, is a little bit of what I’ve been up to lately. A little fun, a lot of busy and pretty much just me living my best life. I hope you have had a FANTASTIC month and I hope you will continue to read along as I continue to document my life in my little corner of the internet.
What have you been up to lately??

Congrats on watching all 22 marvel films! While there were a couple clunkers in the mix (cough…Thor Dark World..cough) overall they were excellent!

I’m 41 and have never been to Disney either. Unless you count the interview I went to in my twenties but I never got to really enjoy Disney World really. So you’re not alone. I would love to go though. One day. I love the Marvel movies. There are a lot of them and I have seen them all but ironically I can’t remember a couple of them. I need to go back and re-watch some, especially now that I’ve seen EndGame

Blogging is definitely hard work and sometimes you just need a break. I’ve been seeing your pics of Disney and can’t wait to read your blog about it. We love Disney!

Watching all 22 Marvel movies, in order, is no small feat! I was saddened at the end of Endgame. Not just because a couple of characters passed (no spoilers!) and a couple moved on, I felt that this is it. The End of an era. I am excited that Phase Four will start with Spiderman: Far From Home! If you haven’t seen the trailer, you need to!
