Hey hey!! Happy Wednesday!! I haven’t written a beauty post in a hot minute so today I thought I would share with you some of my latest hair empties! I have been saving some of these since before I moved so I’m sorry if this post is a little long winded…oops!
I love talking all things hair and my hair products posts are some of my most popular. I always like to share exactly what I’m using with y’all and I also think it’s fun to share them empties since that means I actually used the product all he way up. Was it gifted to me? Did I purchase it myself? Will I buy it again? Let’s see…
First things first I will say that I am super brand loyal to my shampoo and conditioner. I have used the same brand for years now so it is rare that I stray from them. However I did try a new shampoo and conditioner this month and I can’t wait to see what you think and if you have tried this particular brand! I also have some ride-or-die hairsprays and treatments that I love and hope you do too!!
In case you were wondering I have medium/long color treated hair that is super fine but I have LOTS of it. It is kind of wavy/curly naturally but I blow dry it, straighten it or use a curling wand it almost daily. So if this sounds like our hair then you are in luck!!
ONE. Bb. Hairdresser’s Invisible Oil Shampoo. Like I said earlier, I have been sugar the same shampoo and conditioner for years and am pretty much obsessed with them and never stray. However I got a sample of Bumble and Bumble Hairdresser’s Invisible Oil Primer Spray and I love it and I had a bunch of Ulta points to use so I decided to grab the shampoo and conditioner (in travel sizes) to see if I loved them as much. Now before this purchase I had never tried any Bumble and Bumble products because they are on the more expensive side but I figured if I loved the primer spray then the shampoo and conditioner would be just as good. The results? I didn’t super love them. Sorry to anyone who does love them but they just weren’t “right” for my hair. They smelled amazing but I think they were just too heavy for my super fine hair. So if you have thick or course hair then these may just be perfect for you!!
TWO. Bb. Hairdresser’s Invisible Oil Conditioner. See above comments!
THREE. OGX Silk Blowout Spray. I love love love this spray!! This OGX Silk Blowout Spray is one of my favorite blowout sprays and I have tried quite a few. You get a lot of bang for your buck with this one and it makes my hair super soft. Since I started using the Bumble and Bumble Primer Spray on my hair I have been using this spray strictly on the roots when it’s wet. I think it cuts drying time down and makes my car feel silky soft! I will definitely see using this product!!
FOUR. Hask Hawaiian Sea Salt Dry Texturizing Spray. I ran out of my usual texturizing spray and ran to Ulta one day to grab it and they were out and this one was on sale, smelled like coconuts and so I grabbed it instead. I have to say that I love that this spray is clear (a must have for dark hair) but it is kind of heavy feeling. I like fo ray hair to feel light and airy and this spray kind of felt like it was weighing my hair down so while I did indeed use the whole bottle I probably won’t be purchasing it again.
FIVE. drybar Triple Sec. drybar is one of my very favorite hair product brands!! I think I have tried all of their products and I seriously love every single one!! This Triple Sec Spray is one of the first drybar products I ever purchased and one I keep going back to. It is a fantastic texturizing spray, comes out clear and really has some staying power without weighing your hair down.
SIX. drybar The Sheriff Medium Hold Hairspray. Perhaps my favorite medium hols hairspray of all time, I love how much hold I get and my hair still moves and isn’t super stiff. I like to use this when I put my hair up to tame all the flyaways!
SEVEN. drybar Money Maker Flexible Hold Hairspray. I am a little bit obsessed with flexible hold hairsprays for when I use my curling wand and this is the best one I have tried in a long time! It lets my hair hold its shape but doesn’t feel stiff or like there is any product in it at all!
And that, my friends, is my roundup of hair empties for September 2018! A shampoo, conditioner, treatments and hairsprays! I hope you found a new product to try!!
What is your favorite hair product??

These all sound awesome. I’m always looking for something to help my hair. I might have to get that blow out spray! I admit, I tend to just pick up hair stuff that’s on sale, but I should branch out.

I am just getting used to having long hair again. Gone are the days of an easy short bob. I will have to check out some of these. Thank you for giving us the low down.

I am trying to find a here brand that works well with my very flat hair! I will definitely have to see if they have something to bring the volume to my hair. There’s so many products out there in it can be so confusing so posts like this are very helpful.

okay, I love that you were super honest in this review. I also have super fine hair, but not a lot of it. But my hair is super dry and we have hard water in our home, so, no matter what I use, it is always super dry (also due to blow dry, flat iron use). I am going to check out the shampoo and conditioner you use

I use OGX Super Blowout spray when I flat iron my curly hair. It gives it a nice sheen. I love ULTA! There are so many products and I stock up on the travel sizes so I can test new products.

I’m not married to my hair products, but I have to order them on line so each month I think I am going to stop them (expensive) but I don’t. You have some interesting ones.
