My Favorite Lash Products

This post contains affiliate links.

Let’s talk about lashes!! One of the things I get the most questions on is my lashes…what kind of mascara I’m using, have I ever gotten extensions, do I use a serum, etc. Well today I am spilling all my lash secrets! Not that I have any, I share pretty much everything with y’all either on here or on social media. I am an open book!

First things first, let’s talk about my actual lashes. No, I have never gotten extensions but I do get lash lifts! What is a lash lift? Think of it as a perm for your lashes. I blogged about it the first time I did it and I recently got it done again. If you are in central Arkansas I go to Adriane at Whiplash Beauty in Hot Springs. I just get a lift but if you have lighter colored lashes you can also get them tinted! Here is a before/after pic of my last lift…

…see the difference? The top is before and the bottom is after (obviously) and both are with no mascara. I love the boost it gives my lashes and I can definitely tell when it’s time to get another lift! The best part? It’s affordable and it lasts as longs your natural lash cycle.

Speaking of giving your lashes a boost, I have been using Rodan and Fields Lash Boost for a while now and I am obsessed!!! I used another lash serum before this one and it was ok but Lash Boost is the real deal. It actually works and I can tell a big difference in length and volume. Here is a before/after I took while wearing mascara…

The difference in the two pics is insane!! I used to use I every night (on both my lashes and brows) but now I only use it a couple times a week. I love it and think it is worth every penny!! I was gifted my Lash Boost from the amazing people at Rodan and Fields but I will definitely be buying more myself soon!!

Now on to my favorite thing…mascara!! I am a self admitted mascara whore. I have tried pretty much all of them and have a few ride-or-dies and they all haven thing in common- big, fat, fluffy brushes. I can’t stand for my mascara to have a tiny silicone brush, how are you supposed to make your lashes big and fluffy if the brushes tiny and skinny??

All that said my current favorite mascara has a brush that it in between fat and fluffy and tiny and skinny and the first time I used it I was kind of iffy about it but the more I have used it the more obsessed with it I am!! Which mascara is that you ask? IT Cosmetics Superhero Mascara!! They sent me a travel size to use at the beginning of the summer and I have since purchased a regular size on my own. It’s really good y’all!!

But before you swipe on your fave mascara you better be sure you are using a good lash primer. I have talked a lot about how amazing the Loreal Lash Primer is but I recently ran out and snagged Urban Decay’s Subversion Lash Primer at ULTA and I have to say that I am impressed by it!! It has a big, fat, fluffy brush and glides on like a dream. It really gives my lashes a lot of extra length and volume and doesn’t clump up at all. It also makes my mascara stay all day and not run down my face, HA! Would I buy it again? Sure! But the Loreal will always be my #1!!

And now let’s talk about taking all that mascara off because let’s face it, taking our mascara off can be a pain in the ass. If you are like me and use a generous amount of mascara then you can sure that taking it off is going be messy!! But have no fear, I have found a solution to taking your mascara off gently and without doing any damage to your lashes. My solution? A cleansing balm!

I use a cleansing balm to remove my makeup before I wash my face and this stuff will literally melt your mascara off your lashes and leave them super smooth and conditioned feeling. This IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Makeup 3-in1 Melting Cleansing Balm is my current fave with Clinique’s Take the Day Off Cleansing Balm coming in at a close second.

So there you have it…all of my favorite lash products from makeup removers, serums, treatments, primers and mascara rounded up in one blog post! I hope you found a new product or two to try and please feel free to tell your favorite lash products in the comments!! I am always up for product recs!!!

What is your favorite lash product??

Your eyelashes are so beautiful! I was blessed with naturally long/thick lashes. I’m always trying new mascaras but I seem to always go back to Lancome Hypnose Drama. It’s my favorite. I do want to try a primer. I’ve never primed my lashes before. I need to grab some of that cleansing balm since I’ve never been satisfied with any eye makeup remover before.

I find your lashes to be always on point! The brush on the IT Cosmetics Superhero Mascara looks like the type of brush that would really work well on my lashes.

I will share this post with my sister as she loves Make-Up and doesn’t leave home without it while I am different and don’t use it unless I just can’t get out of it.

I am crazy about Lash Boost. I’m a breast cancer survivor and my chemo left me without lashes. Lash Boost restored my lashes and they are so beautiful now!

I love Rodan and Fields and your lashes looked amazing. I think the makeup remover is almost as important as the makeup so I will try and get this too.

Your eyelashes look absolutely gorgeous! Mine used to be very long but they have gotten shorter as I’ve gotten older. I would love something like this to make my eyelashes look longer.

I have always been curious about UD’s lash primer. I don’t generally use a lash primer but I love most UD products.

I love to have a good long lash but I can’t stand wearing mascara lol. I always end up looking like a bruha when I try to wear it lol.

I love long looking lashes, they’re just so pretty. I have done lash lifts before and enjoyed them too. I think it’s one of the best things to do if you want to make your lashes look longer.

The lashes though so tiny add a lot to the face and the overall personality. The right grooming of the lashes is important. The mascara and other products to be used need to be safe and of high quality.

Beautiful lashes, I love how you can actually see a difference when you have the products. I usually hate when you see a review and no difference is visible at all. You look gorgeous.

Oh dear lord! I do love that IT superhero mascara. I received a sample also, bought a tube, then decided I wasn’t paying that much for mascara and bought my old drug store fave. I wore it maybe twice and tossed it for another new tube of IT. It is the BEST! I don’t currently use primer though so I’m going to add that to my list of must haves (and that remover perhaps!)

Your lashes are GOALS! I’ve never heard of Lash Boost but obviously I’m going to need to try it. I have the IT cosmetics mascara in a travel size but I haven’t tried it yet. I’m actually traveling right now so i’ll be using it for the first time, like, tomorrow. I hope I love it as much as you do!
