Hello August. But really, how is it already August?? How is that even possible?? Personally, I love August. August has always meant the beginning of school which mean fall is right around the corner so let’s just go ahead and bust out ALL of the pumpkins. Ya feel me?
I usually go to Ohio around this time of year (I’m going later this month) to visit my grandparents and my bestie Libby and Libby and I always go shopping and this is usually when I buy my first pumpkin candles and wallflowers from Bath and Body Works of the year. So even though it’s technically still summer August reminds me of pumpkins. HA!
But until the weather actually feels more like pumpkin season (aka fall) I am going to soak up these last few weeks of summer. I am going to go to the pool on my days off work and I am going to have a blast my family at Magic Springs this weekend! Maybe I’ll event wild and ride a real roller coaster??
I am also going to enjoy these new bath bombs and linen sprays I ordered from Fizz Bizz!! I recently discovered Fizz Bizz products at a local framing shop when I went to get a few things framed and on a whim picked up a Unicorn Farts Bath Bomb for my niece and a bag of mini Twisted Mermaid Bath Bombs up for myself. Little did I know just how good they would be and as soon as I used my first one I had to get more! I actually won a free bath bomb from a Facebook contest they hosted and took that opportunity to order a few more and a few of their linen sprays. I don’t know about you but I love a good linen spray, anything to make my house smell good!! I got Twisted Mermaid and Lavender Linen scents and I have to say that my house has never smelled better! HA!
I like to spray the Lavender Linen on my bed when I get home from work so I can smell it when I go to sleep and apparently Sophie likes it too because I caught her rolling all over the sheets right after I sprayed it so now she smells like a little Lavender Linen fluff ball, LOL!! Silly dog!
Y’all I am currently watching The Sinner on Netflix and all I can say about that is OMG. I’m only 3 episodes in and I am hooked. This may just be the best thing Jessica Biel has ever done, with the exception of 7th Heaven, I LOVED me some 7th Heaven. HA! But really though, if psychological thrillers are your thing then you need to check out this show!!! It’s SO GOOD!!
I feel like August is going to fly by even faster than July…maybe because I have so much going on?? My Ohio trip is in a couple of weeks but before then I am getting hair done, getting my first ever professional headshots done, going to the dentist and my regular doc for my yearly physical and of course work. Always with the work, HA! Therefore I see August being super busy but also super fun!!
I should probably quit rambling now and wrap this post up. Happy Thursday and Hello August!!

My mother in law loves the scent of Pumpkin as well and I was thinking my son and I should run out to Bath and Body and pick up some Candles and Hand Soap for her for all the nice things she does for us. And while we are there we can look for things for Charlie to give to his teachers.
I received an instant pot last Christmas and haven’t used it yet. Oops. Maybe I’ll be inspired to use it this weekend too. I love August. It’s my birthday month. I think I’ll celebrate the entire month.

I just love Bath Bombs! Granted, I don’t take as many baths. But still. I’ll have to check out The Sinner. I remember her in 7th Heaven too.
Bath bombs is something I always enjoy and will have to try these out. Kids will be back in school in 2 weeks. Fall is right around the corner.

I love Lavender Linen too. It’s such a great way to unwind and get the bed ready for sleep. Love the scent of lavender.

I dread August ha ha but it’s part of the year’s excitement and fun so bring it on. I can see Fall coming, the pumpkins in my yards are overtaking lol.
