10 Shows to Binge on Hulu Right Now

This post contains affiliate links.

I know I talk about Netflix a LOT but only because it’s the only streaming network I had for the longest time. I didn’t think I needed anything else and then I got bored. I know, I know, how do you get bored with Netflix? Well I did so there’s that. I recently (and by recently I mean in the past year) subscribed to Hulu and have become a little bit Hulu obsessed. I found so many good shows on there and they have recent shows as they come out on tv, no waiting around for months for a wile season to drop. Although I have to admit I would rather wait until the whole season is online because I’m impatient and don’t like to wait to watch the next episode. I am such a tv brat. HA!

Anyway, I have written a lot of “what I’m watching on Netflix” posts so today I thought I would share with you what I’mw watching on Hulu! Because I know someone is dying to know…LOL!!

ONE. The Mindy Project. This is the show that started my Mindy obsession. I had seen her in the few episodes I have watched of The Office but this show is truly amazing. I have never laughed so hard in my life and I can completely relate to her on a lot of levels. If you need a good laugh and love shows with a strong, hilarious female lead then you have to watch The Mindy Project.

TWO. The Good Doctor. This is the second show I streamed on Hulu and being the big Grey’s Anatomy fan that I am I am weird about watching other medical dramas because I just don’t think most are Grey’s caliber but The Good Doctor had me all up n my feels and rooting for Dr Sean from the first scene. I can’t wait for season 2!!! And yes I realize this show comes on regular tv but I don’t have regular tv so there’s that.

THREE. Handmaid’s Tale. Perhaps the most controversial Hulu original, Handmaid’s Tale is an epic take on Margaret Atwood’s book of the same name. This show is both intriguing and scary as hell. Intriguing because you think there is no way any of this could actually happen and scary as hell because you realize that it could in a split second. Watch with caution, especially this season.

FOUR. Marvel Runaways. I will be the first to tell you that I am not a “superhero” fan but I think this take on the Marvel characters is fantastic! It’s about kids who realize that their parents are super villains and have been hiding that side of themselves from their children. This is a story about good vs evil and kids vs parents. I loved it and can’t wait for season 2!

FIVE. Future Man. Another Hulu original, Future Man is about a guy (Josh Hutcherson) who is a janitor by day and gamer by night who is some how recruited by mysterious people from his game to go on an adventure to save the world. Sounds dumb but I promise it’s really good!

SIX. Mary Kills People. I believe this is actually a Lifetime show but again, I don’t have tv so I watch on Hulu. I recently bunged all of season 1 and I believe season 2 is on Hulu as well but this show is about an ER doctor who has a “night job” to help terminally ill patient end their life on their terms. So kind of like Me Before You but completely illegal because its based in the United States. Its pretty damn good if I do say so myself.

SEVEN. Will and Grace. I have been a Will and Grace fan for as long as I can remember. I think Karen may just be my favorite character of the bunch, she is hilarious!! I actually haven’t seen the new season yet but I can’t wait to finish binging the old stuff and start the new stuff.

EIGHT. Brooklyn Nine-Nine. I didn’t start watching this show until recently when it was announced that it was canceled and got picked up again by it’s original network? Something like that. I saw a preview on Twitter and about fell out of my chair laughing so I knew I had to watch it. It’s got Andy Samberg (from SNL) and if you like to laugh, cop shows and Pop Culture references then you have to watch!! The Backstreet Boys scene is LIFE.

NINE. Happy Endings. I admit to have only seen the first season of this show but I plan on watching more! It’s got Elisha Cuthbert, who you may know as Abby from The Ranch on Netflix) and is about a group of friends trying to make it in Chicago. So kind of like a Chicago based friends but set in the 00’s? It’s pretty good so far and I can’t wait to watch more!

TEN. The O.C. The O.C. is one of those shows that I’m pretty sure I should have watched in high school or college but never got around to it until now? It stars one of my favorite actresses, Rachel Bilson, and if you are into high school drama shows then you have to watch! And tit’s obviously very late 90’s early 00’s fashion…oh my!!

So there you have it, my top 10 shows you have to watch on Hulu right now!! If you’re into comedy or drama because apparently that’s all I watch…HA!

What are you binging on Hulu right now??

I couldn’t function without my Netflix. I love being able to pick from so many great selections and that everything is on demand so I can come back to it as I have time.

I am HOOKED on The Handmaid’s Tale. I read the book several years ago and it scared me to death. I love Will and Grace and now I want to try The Good Doctor.

We liked and enjoy watching the Good Doctor. Have to say we would need to do some catching. We haven’t seen some of these programs.

My family uses Hulu and Netflix equally. We love streaming movies and shows. I am currently watching Revenge. It is a pretty good show and all four seasons are on there. Black-ish is one of my favorite shows on Hulu. It is very funny! I am also rewatching ER. I have not seen it since it was originally on t.v.

I have a membership in Hulu a year ago , though lately we watch more in Netflix. We hardly watch tv shows on summer time because we spend more outside doing hiking and camping. Good to know that there’s a lot of good shows on the list available now .
