TGIF!! I can’t believe it’s June 1!! How crazy is that?? I mean, it’s felt like summer for a while now, at least in the south anyway, but for some reason I feel like now that it’s officially June summer is officially here!! Gosh I love summer. Fall is my favorite season of all time but summer is a close second. Winter can suck it and Spring means allergy season so yeah, Fall and Summer are my JAM!!
Anyway, back today’s blog post, the Friday Five!! If you are new around here then you should know that I save Fridays for random things that wouldn’t necessarily make a full blog post on their own but I feel like should still get a mention on the blog. Most Fridays are completely random but occasionally there is a theme.
So let’s quit talking about it and get to it!!
ONE. Hello June. I made this graphic a while ago and have been on pins and needles waiting to use it, I love the beach and flamingos so there you go. Hey June!!!
TWO. I went to the Memphis Zoo yesterday with a friend and while there will be a full blog post about my trip Monday I got soooo many questions about my shorts and tank top that I wanted to share them with you today. They are both from Maurice’s (my FAVE store) and they both come in regular and plus sizes. WIN!!! (Tank and shorts are linked below photo!!)

THREE. I found Dirty Dancing on Amazon Prime this morning and I may or may not have squealed like a little girl. I LOVE Dirty Dancing and was actually just thinking about that movie yesterday. I have a feeling it will be on repeat for the foreseeable future.
FOUR. I am in the process of listing my house for sale. That is both a super scary and super exciting thing. I LOVE my house but I have been here for seven years and I’m just feeling like I need a change. I think at this point in my life I just want a small apartment that’s easy to clean (easier than this big ole house that just me and Sophie live in) that is cheaper than my house payment so I can save money and travel more!!! And that is closer to work!!! So that’s my plan. We will see how it goes.
FIVE. I updated my Poshmark closet and added a bunch of accessories earlier this morning. Half of them have sold already but here are a few things that are left!

I have never heard of PoshMark! I really need to check into that. If I can sell stuff online I am all for it. That is extremely exciting. I hope you can sell your home and you find what you’re looking for.

It’s so nice that summer is finally here! I’m counting down the days until we can go back to the beach and just have all that summer fun that comes with it! I think your home’s really lovely and I’m excited for the changes you’re about to go through. I hope you find a new home that you love!
I love flamingos and am looking forward to going to a Caribbean island next month that has wild flamingos roaming the beaches. I’m so excited. Happy Friday!

Good luck on your plan of selling your home. It make a lot of sense to rent an apartment but not all of them allow pets I think.

I am absolutely addicted to Poshmark! I sold some things but bought WAAAAY more lol. While you downsize your home, I need to buy my childhood home, renovate some stuff, flip it, and find our dream home…hoping to do this within the next 4-5 years.

Memphis Zoo sounds like a lot of fun! It’s so exciting when you’re looking for a new home, it can be a little challenging but it’s totally worth it when you find the one!
