I can’t believe it’s already November. Where has this year gone?? I realize that at this point I sound like a broken record because I feel like I say that every month but I mean it this month. It’s already November, which means next month is December, which means it’s almost Christmas!!!
<Insert freak out mode now.>
I don’t know about you but I used to be on top of my Christmas shopping game and was even one of those people who shopped for Christmas gifts during the summer months. Now I’m doing good to get my shopping done before Christmas Eve. Maybe it’s because I haven’t put up an actual Christmas tree since the year I forgot about it and somehow left it up until March?? I seriously think that was 5 years ago…oops!
So this year I am determined to get my Christmas Spirit back and one thing that always gets me going is sipping on a Christmas-y beverage while getting my shop on and listening to Christmas music, cause you know that’s all that is playing in stores right now! There isn’t any better feeling than shopping for other people, marking things off your to-do list and enjoying a Christmas-y beverage all at the same time!!
One of my favorite Christmas-y beverages is McDonald’s Peppermint Mocha. It’s not overly pepperminty like some drinks but still gives you a nice little kick. It’s also not overly chocolate like some places tend to do…more chocolate is not always better. I can’t believe I just said that but in the case of fancy coffee drinks that is absolutely true.
One thing I love about McDonald’s Peppermint Mocha in particular is that it’s made with espresso beans that are sustainably sourced from Rainforest Alliance Certified farms. You can read more about that in a blog post I wrote here. I don’t know about you but I love knowing that every time I purchase a McCafe drink I am helping a farmer from across the world!
If you are like me and are lacking a little Christmas Spirit then go grab yourself a LARGE Peppermint Mocha from McDonald’s and go walk through Target! It’s like Christmas blew up in there and their Christmas music is always on point! Sing along to the music if you want, grab some gorgeous (and affordable!!) Christmas decor, sip on your Peppermint Mocha and let all that warm, fuzzy Christmas goodness seep into your soul. You can thank me later.

I had no idea that McDonald’s had Christmas flavors out yet! I love the drinks at Starbucks but they are a little bit too pricey. Going to have to give this a go!

One of the things I love about the holiday season is all the festive holiday drinks. When I start seeing advertisements for peppermint this and spice and pumpkin that I know to get a festive beverage for my shopping experience.
That drink sounds so amazing! It would be so nice to have one right now! I think it’s awesome that McDonald’s has their own line of Holiday drinks!

I’m in Christmas mode!!! :) I was trying to get my son to give me his Christmas list last month. However, he refused because he told me Halloween hadn’t even passed and that I need to stop thinking about Christmas. What kind of kid am I raising??? Lol! Thankfully, he gave me a Christmas list once Halloween was over, but he is still trying to get me to focus on Thanksgiving.
It’s crazy how quickly it’s coming! I’m excited but already feeling overwhelmed. lol
I am in love with their peppermint mocha. It’s so much better than Starbucks and cheaper too!
Ohhhh this is the best time of year! Can’t wait for my first Peppermint Mocha from McDonald’s of the season. It’ll be what makes it truly feel like the holidays have begun.
Shamrock Shakes are my favorite McDonalds seasonal drink but Peppermint Mocha comes in a close second. A great beverage to enjoy while you are in the holiday spirit!

Yum! I’ve been indulging in their pumpkin spiced latte lately. I will have their peppermint mocha next time.
I bet the Peppermint Mocha is amazing. Too bad they don’t have it in ice coffee too. I love this time of year for peppermint mocha goodness.
It does come in iced, all you have to do is ask for it! I got an iced one this weekend!!
