If you follow me on Instagram then you know that I recently got Botox on my Crow’s Feet. I promise to have a full blog post on that later this week full of all the (not so) gory pics and details about the procedure but that experience really got me thinking. I talk a lot about skincare on this blog but not really about any products specifically for your eyes. I have a few different products over the years and I have finally narrowed down the three types of eye products that I love and that I think every girl should own and today that is exactly what I am going to talk to you about!
First things first the eyes, and specifically the under eye area, are the first to show signs of aging because the skin in that area is the thinnest and more prone to fine lines and wrinkles. Ugh. I can’t believe I am finally at an age where fine lines and wrinkles are an actual problem and not just a thing to prevent. 34 is tough y’all.
For reference here I am pre-Botox…
…overall not bad but I can definitely use some help in the eye region. So which three types of eye products would every girl own? Let’s get to it!
Night Cream
A girl should always have an amazing night cream in her arsenal. I’m starting with a night cream because night time is when your body heals itself so to me, this one is the most important. I was recently gifted this VIICode T2O3.0 Oxygen Eye Cream from the wonderful people at VIICode and have been using it consistently at night for the past couple of weeks.
According to the manufacturer… “T2 Oxygen Eye Cream O3.0 uses an “exclusive ‘T2’stone mortar extraction process”, which facilitates the healing and regeneration of damaged skin cells near the eyes by protecting this delicate area of the face and by fading away the first visible signs of aging.”
It is a very rich, lightweight formula (sounds very contradictory but it’s true) that helps reverse the signs of aging by repairing damaged cells and rejuvenating your skin. I have noticed a big difference in the puffiness of my eyes when I use it and on the nights I skip it. Overall I’m very pleased with it and will continue to use it!!
You can also use this product during the day time but I don’t like my skin (and eyes) to get used to one product so I switch it up and use a different product during the day. This is currently the fave of all my eye products so it gets used at night when it really counts!!
Day Cream
Confession- I used to only use my eye products at night and then I realized you could use them during the day too and that’s when I really started noticing a difference in my eyes! For day time use I am currently using this TULA Revitalizing Eye Cream. I bought this as part of a set that has travel sizes of TULA’s four best sellers because I had really been wanting to try the brand. So far this is my favorite of the four.
I use this product during the day just to add just that much more moisturizer right to my under eye (and crow’s feet) area that will help out with the puffiness. I just dab it on right before I do my serum and regular moisturizer.
I love that TULA products contain probiotics because it makes me feel like I’m doing something good for my skin.
Spot Treatment
I know, I know, your’e thinking a spot treatment for your eyes? Girl has lost it! But hear me out. You know how sometimes, no matter how much sleep you get and how much day and night cream you use your eyes are still puffy?? A spot treatment can help!! I use this one from Dermalogica and I am obsessed with it!!
I love this product specifically because of the end of the applicator. See that silver tip right there?? You just squeeze a tiny amount of product onto it and then roll it around your under eye and crow’s feet area and it immediately cools them off and depuffs them. This bad boy was a lifesaver when I was recovering from Botox!!
This spot treatment contains Jojoba to provide protection to your skin from environmental stressors and water loss and Niacinamide to accelerate collagen production to strengthen your skin and reveal a more youthful appearance.
So there you have it, the three eye products every girl should own!! If you have any questions please leave them in the comments and I hope you have a fabulous day!!
Do you use any of these eye products??
What is your favorite eye product??

I agree. When it comes to skin care, having a different product for night and day is effective. Our skin has different needs during night and day.

I never use any eye cream at all even though I know I need too. I don’t know, I even have dark circles around my eyes, but they never bothered me. Maybe I should look into it. :)
