“FALL” in Love with McDonald’s Pumpkin Spice Latte

This post contains affiliate links.

I am a brand ambassador for Central Arkansas McDonald’s. While I am being compensated for this post all thoughts and opinions are my own.

In the words of LM Montgomery, “I’m so glad I live in a world where there are Octobers.”

October might just be my favorite month of the year. I may try and make fall happen in the middle of August and the first “official” day of fall may happen in September but October is when it actually starts to feel like fall.

October 5th would have been my Mom’s 59th birthday. I don’t talk about her very much on here but she passed away the summer after I graduated from high school. She had colon cancer and was one of the youngest women in the state of Arkansas to have it at the time. One thing I will always remember about my Mom is how all out she went for the holidays. I think she is where I get my “go big or go home” attitude when it comes to holiday decorating, especially when it comes to fall home decor.

My Mom loved everything about fall. She loved when the trees changed color (as much as they could in south Arkansas), she loved when the weather got cool outside, she loved lighting a fire in the fireplace and having family game night or movie night in front of it but most of all she loved pumpkins. We had pumpkins all over our house and we would always carve them right before Halloween. She was also really big into Halloween but that’s a story for another time.

As much as my Mom loved fall and pumpkins she also loved coffee. Obsessed is probably the most accurate description of her love for the drink. I think that if she were here today she would be just as obsessed with pumpkin spice coffee as I am, maybe even more…if that’s possible! I could also see her rocking a bright red Keurig with all the fancy coffee flavors in a spinning rack on the kitchen counter (just like me!!) just to drive my Dad crazy because he hates making his coffee by the cup and always makes fun of my “fancy” coffee maker. What a weirdo. LOL!

So in honor of my Mom, today I’m going to make some time to go get a fancy Pumpkin Spice coffee from McDonald’s (it’s like fall in a cup y’all!!) and drink it on my back porch and think about her. Because I know she would love it just as much as I do!!

And if Pumpkin Spice isn’t your thing then you should check out the rest of the McCafe menu! They also have a Carmel Macchiato, Carmel Cappuccino, French Vanilla Cappuccino, Americano and so much more!! There is literally something for everyone!!

McDonald’s always has great offers on their app! If you don’t already have the app, download it today and start your McCafe punch card! When you buy five McCafe beverages, get one any size FREE!

Are you pumpkin spice obsessed??
Have you tried a McDonald’s Pumpkin Spice Latte yet??

I had a pumpkin spice latte from McDonald’s last weekend for the first time and fell in love. I can’t wait to get another one.

Your mom is so beautiful – what a wonderful photo to look at and remember all the good times! My mom always went all out too when it came to decorating for the holidays. I think I miss her more around holidays than any other time of the year if that’s possible. What a beautiful tribute to your mom!

I know some people who wait all year for McDonalds to come out with their pumpkin spice. We live out in the country and don’t get to town very often. I will let all you city folks enjoy your pumpkin spice.

Funny what triggers certain memories of loved ones isn’t it. You’d never think the scent of coffee would bring so many memories. Coffee brewing always reminds me of my great grandmother. She had an old percolator that she used for years, even when my dad was a kid. Enjoy your coffee and relish in those happy memories.

I had no idea McDonald’s made pumpkin spice lattes! I’ve only tried some once from another cafe but I wasn’t much of a fan.

You do not need to convince me to find in love with punk and spice. I love anything and everything pumpkin. I do not know McDonald’s had these I think I’ll have to treat myself today to one.

I’ve never tried the Pumpkin Spice Latte, but that’s because I’ve never ever tried coffee. My mom is coffee obsessed too and I hated everything about coffee when I was a kid. So I promised myself I would never drink coffee and I never have. :) But I have to admit they have so many yummy sounding flavors these days like pumpkin spice. :)

I never knew that McDonald’s served pumpkin spiced lattes. I will have to give it a try and see how it compares to my favorite one from Starbucks.

Call me crazy, but since we don’t go to McDonald’s, I had no idea that they had pumpkin spice lattes. I know that their other coffee drinks are better than that big store on every corner, so I bet this one is too!

Love the spicy flavors that fall brings. It’s just now starting to feel like fall in NJ so I will be cooking up the flavors soon.

I wasn’t aware Mcdonalds had that many flavours! its really sweet to hear that somewhere in this love for these drinks is a sweet nostalgia of your mum.

I’ll make it a point to try pumpkin spiced treats this year.

I never think to go to McDs for coffee, but I’ve heard really great things about it and it is cheaper than other coffee places.

If there was never a reason to go to McDonalds, now there is. I am one of those Pumpkin Spice Everything girls and McDonalds has some of the best coffee, as it is. I will definitely be taking a trip there very soon.
