It’s that time again folks!! It’s FRIDAY!!! WOOHOO!! Although I don’t know why I’m so excited, I have to work this weekend. HA! If you are new around these parts then you should know that Fridays are reserved for my Friday Five. The Friday Five is a post of 5 random things that I can’t/didn’t make a full blog post about but still deserve a mention on the blog. Sometimes there is a theme but mod Fridays it’s just completely random. Today is a random Friday so here we go…
…drumroll pleas….this week’d Friday Five!!
ONE. I am officially obsessed with these Tory Burch sunglasses. They are HGUE but super light on my face, which I love because heavy sunglasses give me a headache in the worst way. Ugh. I haven’t had a fabulous pair of tortoiseshell sunglasses in about a million years so these are perfection!!! Plus, they are 40% off right now, along with a bunch of other TB sunglasses so you should check them out!! I almost got these as well…HA!
TWO. I am almost finished watching the new-ish 90210 on Netflix and I just found the list of things leaving Netflix at the end of October, one of those shows being One Tree Hill which has been on my “list” for forever so now I’m just wondering I should go ahead and finish 90210 or do I try and cram One Tree Hill in before it leaves?? #FirstWorldProblems Have you seen One Tree Hill??
THREE. I got a FitBit Blaze a couple of weeks ago and I’m kind of obsessed with it. I’m super competitive, even against myself, and so I like seeing my “stats” and trying to beat whatever I did the day before. I’m so weird. I really wanted an Apple Watch but I also really didn’t want to pay $300+ for a smart watch. This Blaze does everything I want it to…tracks my steps, calories, sleep, gets texts, emails and pretty much anything else I want notifications for from my iPhone. Plus it was on sale for $149.99 when I got it and I got a slim band for it that I am loving!! You just can’t beat that!!
FOUR. I have been meaning to put together my fall wreath for the year but haven’t gotten around to it. As fall obsessed as I am you would think that would have been done as soon as I bought the stuff but it’s been sitting on my kitchen table for a couple of weeks now. Ugh. I hate it when I procrastinate.
FIVE. I have been a little bit puzzle obsessed lately and I’m not entirely sure why. I’m not hating it at all and we actually used to put them together as a family when I was in high school. My Mom had cancer and so we couldn’t get out of the house a lot and do stuff so instead we put together puzzles as a family. Always Charles Wysocki and she would always Mod Podge them and frame them when we were done. My Dad built her a frame specifically for these puzzles and my Mom would change them out when we were finished with a new one or whatever was appropriate for the season. I ran across a selection of Charles Wysocki puzzles at WalMart and grabbed a few. I have had the best time putting these bad boys together. They are fun but extremely time consuming. I can definitely tell you that it takes longer to put one together by yourself! HA!!

Those sunglasses are great! I wished Netflix would bring back the old 90210, I’d totally watch that. I didn’t watch One Tree Hill, and had forgotten about it, until you mentioned it. We did watch Party of Five on Netflix which was really good. Right now we are sort of obsessed with The Office.
I watched the new 90210 when it originally aired on the CW network and totally loved it. I was so sad when it was canceled, but had no idea it was currently on Netflix. I feel another binge in my near future!
The Blaze looks great! I do a lot of walking around at work and it would be nice to keep track of it all.

One, love the Tory Burch shades. You look great. Two, huge One Tree Hill fan lol. Three, I am also super competitive with myself. Your Tory Burch sunglasses are GORGEOUS! I definitely have to check out the sale! It’s not every day TB goes on sale. … Awesome puzzle. My daughter and I used to love doing puzzles together. Now that she’s away at college, we haven’t done one together for several months. I miss it.

My fitbit just broke 2 days ago. I am considering getting this same watch, but I already have an apple watch, version 1, so what should I do? Thanks for reminding me I feel naked without my Fitbit!
I totally love putting jigsaw puzzles together. There is something so relaxing and satisfying about completing one!!
My hubby has the blaze. I have the Fitbit Charge 2. I am debating on upgrading to the blaze because it looks so nice.
I have not worked a real puzzle in a very long time. I always think they are beautiful though. Instead of buying puzzles, I have an app on my phone called Jigsaw Puzzle Epic. It lets you pick your puzzle size too.
We used to do this kind of activity when we were kids. I must admit we have not done one major puzzle in decades. I would love to try and start this hobby once again but it would be the factor of time that would be my biggest obstacle.
Oh my lanta, I would love to try making puzzles. It has been a while.
