Celebrate National Potato Month at McDonald’s

This post contains affiliate links.

I am a brand ambassador for Central Arkansas McDonald’s. While I am being compensated for this post all thoughts and opinions are my own.

Did you know that September is national Potato Month? As if I needed another reason to eat more potatoes…HA! I don’t know about you but I love potatoes and I love them in all forms…mashed, fried, stewed, baked, in potato salad, as twice baked potatoes, as gnocci, in soup, and I could go on and on and on. I am a potato-loving freak! HA!!!

But do you want to know my favorite way to eat a potato (or 10)?? As McDonald’s World Famous Fries of course!! McDonald’s has had the best fries around for about as long as I can remember. It’s like their Cokes…there’s just something special and unique about them!!

McDonald’s fries are made from premium potatoes such as the Russet Burbank and the Shepody. Each labeled serving has zero grams of trans fat and are epically crispy and golden on the outside and perfectly fluffy on the inside. And did I mention that they are salted to perfection? There is never “not enough” or “too much” salt on McDonald’s fries, it’s like they have a secret formula and know exactly how much to use to make my taste buds explode!!

Now I have to confess that there are some days when I go to McDonald’s and just get a large order of fries and a side of secret sauce (or the new Sriracha Mac Sauce, have you tried that stuff yet?? It’s AMAZE!!!) and my day is made.

And then there are some days I get a small order of fries with my favorite Pico Guacamole Artisan Grilled Chicken. I also love to dip my fries in all the Pico Guac that falls out. I really just love having something to dip my fries in, HA!

And speaking of chicken sandwiches from McD’s, have you tried their brand new, limited time only Signature Crafted Sriracha Artisan Grilled Chicken Sandwich (or with Buttermilk Crispy Chicken) yet? I got one last week and it blew me away!! It did not taste like a sandwich you get from a fast food place, it was fancy and I loved every bite of it!!

The next time you are out and about and are in a celebrating kind of mood, swing by your local McDonald’s and grab some fries and celebrate National Potato Month in a super yummy way!!

If you’re in the central Arkansas area, be sure to download the McDonald’s app and when you buy one Large Fries, get one FREE!

Did you know September is National Potato Month??
Are you as McDonald’s fries obsessed as I am??

McDonald fries are such a nice treat. We don’t get there very often and I love some salty ketchup with my fries. Sometimes it is nice not to have to think about cooking lunch or dinner :)

I think everyone is obsessed with their fries, they have it on lock down. I dip mine in sweet and sour sauce and have been doing that since I was a kid and now my daughter does it too, so yummy!

I’m with you.. There is no wrong way to eat a potato, but fried is definitely best. And that pico/guac burger? Yum! I haven’t had one in a few months.

That is interesting to know about the national potato month, I had no idea. If there’s one thing I would buy at McDonalds, that’s french fries.

I have not had McDonald’s in a long time. The Crafted Sriracha Artisan Grilled Chicken Sandwich does sound so delicious! BUT I do miss the fries!
