I think the question on everyone’s mind lately is…is it fall yet?? Just me?? I hope not. For some reason about this time every year I am just so over summer and the heat and the long days and so I do some sort of major house clean which always involves in changing out the wallflowers all over my house and breaking out a fall scent which really makes me want fall even though it will most likely be in the 80’s/90’s until at least October. Ugh.
I accomplished said major house clean the other night when I was off work and refilled all my wallflowers with Apple Crumble and put away all my regular candles and busted out the fall ones. I haven’t changed any home decor (yet) but I am definitely anticipating September 1 so I can bust out all my pumpkins, HA!! I typically wait on decor/actual pumpkins until September 1 so no one thinks I’m a total whacko but my house definitely has a fall smell/vibe to it and I am loving it!
Speaking of fall smells this is my absolute favorite candle that I grabbed a couple of years ago at a White Barn store in Ohio (when I say grabbed I really mean I bought 4 or 5 because when a scent is that good you stock up) and I was most upset when I put it out the other night because it was my last one!! The horror!!
But have no fear my fellow fall loving, Bath and Body Works candle hoarding friends because I have just discovered that it has been relaunched for this year!!! Hallelujah, praise Jesus and RUN, don’t walk and grab a couple for yourself. You won’t regret it.
One more thing that is giving me all the fall feels are these freaking gorgeous new shoes I got the other day…
…are those not just the cutest shoes you have ever seen? As a bonus they are also super comfy, run true-to-size, are velvet and come in a variety of other colors!! DEAD y’all. Someone please give me a reason to wear these babies!!
Just for fun I put together a little pre-fall fun look that I was sorely tempted to actually wear outside and then I remembered it was 90*+ outside and the humidity was 100%. Boo. I need some fall fashion in my life STAT!!! I seriously can’t wait to wear some skinny jeans, sweater cardis and cute fall weather shoes!!
jeans | similar sweater | white tank | necklace | shoes
Seriously though, don’t you just want to pet them? I do!! HA!! I promise I don’t have a weird shoe fetish or anything…LOL!!
So tell me friends…
Are you ready for fall??
What is your favorite fall scent??

I am never satisfied with the seasons. During the winter, I can’t wait for spring and summer. When summer is drawing to a close, I start getting the itch for blankets and pumpkin spice everything. LOL

Well, I’m spending six months n Belize and won’t return to the states until mid-December. So I’ll be going straight from a 104 heat index to winter. I’ll miss fall altogether this year!

For us, summer ends when the kids go back to school, which actually happened on Monday. Now if only the weather would follow. Love those fun shoes and the bright pop of color they provide!

Omg I can’t wait until summer is over! It’s been such a hot and humid one. While I’m not quite ready for sweaters, I am ready for trench coat weather and comfort fall foods.

We went to Vegas and man, the heat was unbearable, it made me wish we went during the FAll. Yes, I am excited for the Fall season.

Texas heat is the worst in August and it makes us stay indoors or at the swimming pool. We are loving it. Fall means back to school routine and this mama isn’t ready yet. I love the pumpkin spice smell but haven’t tried drinking it. I rather have mint flavored things.

True though when you find a candle that you like you just can’t help but stock up on them. I love the outfit especially the sweater since I have a thing for sweaters but overall the outfit is awesome. ^^

Most guys really aren’t into candles but I could get into enjoying the Maple and Popcorn one here. Two of my favorite scents there!

I love Fall as it is my favorite time of year. I have come to appreciate it more now that I live in the north where I get to experience actual seasons lol when I lived in the south, summer went right to fall-ish and then we would have maybe 2-3 weeks of winter. I don’t think I ever saw more than 4 weeks of actual winter weather.

I do love the fall, but I’m not quite ready for it yet – guess I don’t really have a choice though.
