Breakfast Refresh at McDonald’s

This post contains affiliate links.

I am a brand ambassador for Central Arkansas McDonald’s. While I am being compensated for this post all thoughts and opinions are my own.

Summer is winding down and I am both happy and sad about that. Happy because that means fall is coming and fall is my absolute favorite!! Sad because I have had a pretty great summer and don’t want it to end! Why do the good things in life always have to end? Boooo.

One thing I am for sure excited about is getting back into some sort of semblance of a routine. I don’t have kids and I’m not going back to school so nothing is really “changing” for me but for some reason summer always seems so chaotic and fall always brings me back into a routine of sorts. Does that make any sense??

Waaaaay back at the beginning of April I switched from day shift to night shift at my job and now I get to work in an area of the hospital that I love all the time and with some pretty amazing co-workers. But with that change came a major lifestyle change…I had to switch my life from days to nights and trying to stay sane all the while taking care of tiny little people at work! I’m not going to lie; it was a tough transition for a few weeks getting my body used to nights again and trying to figure out my weirdo sleeping schedule.

One thing that has really helped me adjust is McDonald’s All Day Breakfast Menu!! It helps me feel “normal” (that is always a relative term with me, HA!) when I can eat breakfast food for my breakfast, especially when my breakfast is at 5:30pm when I’m on my way to work most days.

I have always been a fan of McDonald’s breakfasts and more now especially since learning that the pork sausage patties and the folded eggs have no artificial preservatives in addition to already having no artificial flavors or colors. I don’t ask for much in a fast food breakfast sandwich but knowing that McDonald’s serves quality food has always been a big deal in my book. Plus they have the best frappes in the world, but I’m sure you already knew that!

Right now at McDonald’s you can get 2/$3 Sausage McMuffin with Egg!! So check them out the next time you are in the mood for a delicious breakfast sandwich any time of the day!!

Which McDonald’s breakfast sandwich is your favorite??

I think the sausage mcmuffin is my favourite actually. I haven’t had one in a long time but you just made me crave one actually. I love this trend of all day breakfast. It makes sense and I feel like visiting today to sample some of this great breakfast food. Their prices on breakfasts work for me too.

I love breakfasts at McDonald’s! I’m traveling for several months in Belize right now and I really miss my bacon, egg and cheese biscuits!

There’s nothing like a sausage McMuffin. Even when we make them at home, nothing tastes like a McDonalds Sausage McMuffin. I personally prefer the sausage biscuit, my husband loves the Sausage McMuffin and at 2 for $3 that’s a great deal.

Oh the sweet tea looks super refreshing. That’s also a really good price for two sausage end egg mcmuffins. It is a really nice road trip breakfast when you are on the go!

I was so excited when McDonald’s announced their All Day Breakfast Menu. I love to treat myself to an Egg McMuffin and a hash brown. They have the best coffee as well.
