Guest Bedroom Tour

This post contains affiliate links.

Happy Hump Day!! Since I’ve been cleaning out all the things and doing home projects I’ve been meaning to do for years in getting this house ready to sell I have actually been putting rooms together in my house and I think they are coming out pretty cute! So that means that today I am sharing my guest bedroom with you! I am usually not a huge fan of gold (I know, I know, gold is HUGE right now, especially in the blogger world) but I have these pretty sweet golden angel wings for about 8 years now and finally decided to decorate with/around them. I think the room turned out pretty cute and I am ready for guests to come and enjoy it!! So let’s start my official guest bedroom tour!!

First things first, the bed. I have a queen sized bed in this room and it used to be mine before I upgraded to a king and so I can tell you from first hand experience that it’s pretty dang comfy! I am a huge fan of white bedding because then you can decorate with whatever colors around it. I have changed the colors in this room several times over the years but I am sticking with a black and white theme with some turquoise and pink accents in this room. So instead of me rambling on and on about it I will just show you some pics and will link everything at the bottom!! Here we go…

bedding | similar pink quilt | golden angel wings

candle | pineapple lamp

similar rugs here and here

similar mirror

monogram | white shelf

candle | mermaid | clock

As you can see this room is where I house a lot of my books and most of my Starbucks You Are Here Collection mugs. I started my collection a couple of summers ago when I went on my east coast road trip and have been a happy little mug collector every since! One of the highlights of any trip I take is grabbing a mug!!

I purchased my monogram unpainted, it was cheaper that way, and just painted it black myself. I stuck it to the wall with command strips because it wasn’t super heavy and I don’t like holes in my wall! Also- the rug I grabbed from IKEA a few years ago and it’s no longer in stock so I linked a couple of similar ones at great prices!!

If you have any questions about anything let me know!! I love home decor and would be glad to answer your questions if I can!!

Do you have a guest bedroom??
Do you collect Starbucks YAH mugs??

I love this room! I love the simplicity that you’ve used when decorating. I too love white bedding, it’s so versatile. Plus, I really like being able to use bleach when it comes to washing. I love the idea of collecting those mugs on vacation. Now, I’m thinking, I wished I would have started doing that too!
