On Monday I talked about going to Memphis for my birthday weekend and part of our weekend was going to brunch at The Majestic Grille on Sunday (my actual birthday)! A few weeks ago I asked for brunch recommendations on my Instagram and several people recommended The Majestic Grille so Jenn reserved us a table and we went!
The Majestic Grille is located at Peabody Place in downtown Memphis and I loved walking around down there and taking a few photos. Memphis is a truly gorgeous city and I would love to go back one day and take a trolley tour.
Ok, back to brunch. The Majestic Grille is truly a dining experience. It has a 1920’s vibe and there is a huge movie screen on the wall that plays old movies and shorts. There are palm trees, a bar that lines the whole wall, both upstairs and downstairs ding areas, and the service is incredible!!
We ate upstairs but got a selfie downstairs…
We started with a Breakfast Flatbread as an appetizer. Jenn and I also got Bloody Mary’s. Those Bloody’s were perfectly spicy and everything I wanted for my birthday brunch. HA!
For my entree I got the Shrimp-N-Grits and holy mother of all that is good in this world that might have been one of the best meals I have ever had in my life. Cheddar Cheese Grits topped with Garlic Sautéed Gulf Shrimp and a side of perfectly crispy bacon of course!! Do you even see that Garlic Butter floating all over the top of those grits???? I will definitely be back for another round of this gorgeous meal soon!!
If you are ever looking for a fabulous brunch spot in Memphis I highly recommend The Majestic Grille!! Dress is casual, the atmosphere is top notch, and the food is out of this world!

I have not been to Memphis before, but I’ve heard its a great city to visit. The closest I’ve come is that my husband and I spent a night in Nashville while we were on our way to North Carolina. Happy birthday!
Memphis is one of the places I would like to visit you sometime soon. I would love to take a tour around town in just see all sorts of different things. If I ever get down that way I’ll definitely check out this restaurant.

The Shrimp and Grits dish looks so mouth watering! I could eat 2 servings of that. I haven’t been to Memphis and I hope I can visit there someday. If I do get the chance, I will go running to the Majestic Grille and have my fill of yummyness.

What a cute and cozy restaurant–it looks like it is straight out of a movie! Brunch is my absolute FAVORITE meal of the weekend and I would love to enjoy it at the Majestic Grill!

Great choice, I ate here last year when I came to visit Memphis. The ambiance is perfect and the food is delicious.
