Raise your hand of you have seen all those “crazy girls” pimping that “weird lip stuff” that allegedly stays on all day all over social media. {hand raised reeeeeally high} I have seen people talking about LipSense all over Facebook and Instagram for a while now but I never really thought about it much until recently. One of my favorite Instagrammers started selling it and one of my best friends bought some and loved it so then I decided to check it out for myself.
I took the plunge and ordered the color Lexie Bear-y and the Glossy Gloss and tried it out. Now I am one of the most skeptical people you will ever meet and I decided to put this bad boy to the test so I wore it to work one day and took pics to document how it looked all day. On the days that I work at the hospital I wake up at 4:30 am. I put my LipSense on at 5am and got to work about 6:30 and snapped my first pic…
…say hello to Super Skeptical Ricci. HA!! I really love this color and on this particular day I did two coats. Three coats looks more purple-y on me so I have been sticking to two coats and the Glossy Gloss of course. LipSense makes my lips feel dry but if you just keep applying the Glossy Gloss every couple hours then they don’t feel dry at all. It makes my lips super shiny which isn’t my fave when I have a darker lip color on but it isn’t super shiny for long. I want to try the Matte Gloss!!

…again, no color is gone and I am still loving it!
After work I went to the gym and got in a good sweaty cardio session and then went to the tanning bed. Bad Ricci, I know, but going to work in the dark and getting home is so depression that I need a little sunshine in my life. Plus I really wanted to put this stuff to the test! So this next pic was taken after I got home from the gym and ate dinner around 11 pm that night.
At this point it was definitely starting to come off but actually not too much! It started to come off around my waterline and from the creases in. This was about 18 hours in and I was just ready to wash my face and go to bed! I washed my face with my regular face wash and then washed my lips with a Neutrogena soap bar and it came right off. You can either buy the LipSense OOPS! Remover or just buy a $2 bar of soap from Neutrogena. You just rub it across your lips and then wipe it all off with a clean washcloth.
So that’s it! That is my honest to God review of LipSense and I purchased it myself so this wasn’t biased in any way at all.
All that being said I seriously loved my LipSense and have since ordered two more colors, Plum Pretty and First Luv. I also really want Bombshell, Blue-Red, Carmel Apple, Roseberry, and the list goes on and on!! HA!!

I have completely missed this – never heard of it – but it sounds fantastic. Would mean I wouldn’t have to carry any lippy on a night out!

It is so useful to have products like this that last and last! When you have to reapply all the time – what’s the point? No one has time for that!
WOW!! That is crazy how long it lasts!! I would have thought drinking and your work out would have made it come off a lot more! This is great!
I tried it once in a bridal convention but I didn’t keep it for too long. Maybe I need to give it another try!

I would love to try Lipsense. These colors look great on you. I am looking for something that will last all day.

This is my first time learning about lipsense. I love any lip color that can stay on for a longer time, keeps you from applying so much on and it kind of saves you money since it last long.
This is the first time I’ve actually heard about this company. I don’t usually wear anything on my lips, but I do have to say that those are some lovely colors. I love to see that it stays on longer too. That’s always great!
