5 Binge Worthy Shows You Need to Watch on Netflix Right Now

This post contains affiliate links.

Here we are. The day after Thanksgiving. Everyone is either out shopping the Black Friday deals or is still too full from yesterday to get off the couch. Unfortunately I am working today so I am doing neither. HA! But I can tell you that if I was off work today I would still be in my pj’s doing some serious damage online shopping and binge watching something fabulous on Netflix.

Speaking of Netflix I have a serious addiction…my little OCS self is so happy I can watch a show from start to finish and not have to miss anything. My “list” of things to watch is a little bit out of control but I home to remedy that soon by doing some serious TV watching now that it’s getting colder outside.

So what would I be watching if I was home today? Good question! Luckily for you today I am going to tell you about my 5 (new to me) favorite binge-worthy series on Netflix right now!

bingeworthy

ONE. Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life. Y’all. I started watching the series this past August from the beginning and just finished it this past Monday. I felt truly victorious. I am also kind of sad that I can’t watch A Year in the Life today because of work. Booooo…being an adult sucks sometimes. HA!

TWO. The Crown. If you know me at all then you know I am a little bit Royal Family obsessed. I have been excited about this series since I heard about it last year and watched the whole thing in a couple days. It’s really good and if you like history then you should totally check it out. You can also check out my hashtag #RoyallyObsessed to see my Royal Family social media posts…LOL!

THREE. Stranger Things. Not new at all but I have watched this show twice from start to finish and I loved every single minute of it. If you are an 80’s child and loved The Goonies and/or The Poltergeist then you should totally watch this show. It is spectacular!!

FOUR. Luke Cage. Ok, fine. I haven’t actually watched this one yet but it’s on my list! I am still coming off my Gilmore Girls haze and haven’t watched it yet but I totally plan on it! I watched Jessica Jones a couple months ago and loved it and this is Luke’s side. I also heard there may be a series about Luke, Jessica and Daredevil??? Fingers are crossed!!

FIVE. Peaky Blinders. Not something I would normally watch but it is truly riveting. Peaky Blinders is based in the 1920’s and is about an english family street gang that is totally bad ass. If you are into action shows and mob-style stuff then you should check it out!!

Other shows I have on my “list” are Lost, Mad Men, Fuller House (new episodes come out next month!!!), Kimmy Schmidt, Reign, The 100, and a ton more!! LOL!!

I hope everyone had a fabulous Thanksgiving and that you found a new show or two to watch!!

What is your favorite show to binge watch on Netflix??

I’ve already watched all of Luke Cage, and I’m currently in the middle of an epic Gilmore Girls binge to get ready for the new episodes. Great picks!

I’ve already watched Luke Cage and Stranger Things and loved them both and there is so much hype around Gilmore Girls I have to admit I’ve never even watched the original.

Only shopping I will be doing is on the internet and watching the Gilmore Girls. Plus some hallmark movies. Talk about leftovers, no cooking except warming up in the microwave today.

I need to check out some of your NetFlix picks. Right now we are catching up on the third season of The 100. We are so addicted. The girls also are in the process of binge watching Grey’s Anatomy.

There is lots of shows on here that I have not seen yet. This is a good weekend to do some binge watching since we don’t have school or work or any place to run to. I love the idea to just binge watch.
