Happy Thursday!! I feel like there are a lot of new faces around here lately and so today I decided to share a little bit about myself. If you have been reading here for a while then some of this may be old news to you but if you are new then welcome!! And today you will get to learn a little bit about me!!
So here we go with…the girl behind the blog!
ONE. My first name is Ricci and my middle name is Alexis, hence my blog name and URL, Ricci Alexis.
TWO. My Mom just knew I was going to be a boy and my Dad swore I was going to be a girl. My Mom was so sure she was right that she said my Dad could name me if I was a girl and so my Dad was actually the one who picked out Ricci Alexis. Go Dad!!
THREE. I am single. No boyfriend, ex-husband, or kids…just me!
FOUR. I have one dog, Sophie. I love her like she was my child. It’s a little bit ridiculous.
FIVE. My day job is a respiratory therapist and I love it.
SIX. I have been blogging for six years and started when I was off work for six weeks following a breast reduction. Both are some of the best decisions I have ever made.
SEVEN. Fall is my favorite time of the year and I am obsessed with any and everything pumpkin.
EIGHT. Pink is my favorite color.
NINE. I love to travel and wish I could do it for a living. With Sophie of course.
TEN. I am obsessed with the Royal Family. London is on my bucket list of places to travel to and I would honestly just die if I could see one of them in person.
ELEVEN. I love beauty products but am a true skincare junkie.
TWELVE. I own my own home and have had the best time decorating it and making it mine.
THIRTEEN. I love taking selfies.
FOURTEEN. I was in the FFA in high school and those are still some of my favorite memories. I was on the Parliamentary Procedure and Floriculture teams and showed sheep. I also held chapter and district offices.
FIFTEEN. I am the world’s worst at procrastination. I guess I work well under pressure??
SIXTEEN. I am in my early 30’s but don’t feel a day over 27.
SEVENTEEN. I come from a very large, blended family but I currently live about 2.5 hours away from any of them. I like having my space.
EIGHTEEN. I met some of my very best friends through blogging and we talk everyday and travel together all the time.
NINETEEN. I have never been to Disney World and hope to remedy that soon.
TWENTY. My favorite food in the whole wide world is chicken. I could seriously eat it everyday and not complain, in fact I often do.
So there are twenty random facts about me. If you are a long time reader I hope you learned something new! And if you are a new reader then I hope you get a sense of who I am!

I thought I was the world’s worst procrastinator and yes that does mean we apparently work well under pressure, doesn’t it. Sophie is a cutie. Now plan yourself a trip to Disney World and don’t procrastinate that any longer!

I’ve known and loved your blog for a while, but I didn’t know all these great things about you. My oldest daughter had a breast reduction and it was one of the best things she’s ever done also. I was her nurse while she was recovering and had to drain the tubes (yuck!) and all that good stuff. :) I love reading your blog and learning more stuff about you.
Thank you for sharing so much about yourself. I always want to know more about the bloggers that I associate with and I feel like I know you so much better. I had several cats that I think of as my children. Sophie sure is lucky to have you!
That is a lot of info about yourself! It is always nice to get to “know” someone who is writing a blog! I love animals myself and always treat my dogs as kids also!

It was nice learning a little about you. You can never spoil your dogs too much, at least that is what my 3 tell me. I to also wish I could just travel but alas it is not to be.

It’s nice getting to know more about you! You know Fall is my favorite season too. My problem is that there is no fall here in the Philippines so I just make Fall happen on the blog… how silly is that?
