Woohoo it’s Friday!! This week has been a blur for me but none the less I’m still glad it’s Friday. If you have been reading here for any amount of time then you know what Friday’s mean around here…it’s time for the Friday Five! If you are new then you should know that Friday’s are for when I tell you five random things about myself or maybe just things that are on my mind or what I’ve been up to lately.
So without further ado, here are this week’s Friday Five!
ONE. I had Varicose Vein surgery this past week on my left leg. Recovery hasn’t been too bad but I have a Dr appointment and followup ultrasound today so I’m pretty excited about that. I peeked under my bandage/stocking and I’m pretty excited about what I’ve seen so far. I can’t wait to see the finished result and to get my right leg done. I plan on doing a full post about this surgery sometime soon so if you have any questions about it let me know!!
TWO. I have seriously had the best support system this past week! My stepmom took me to the hospital and brought me home, my friends and family have called and texted every single day, and my Sophie pup has been the best nurse ever. HA! Basically she loves to lay around all day and so do I!
THREE. My besties Rebekah and Jenn sent me this beautiful bouquet of flowers to speed up my recovery! Thanks ladies, they are gorgeous!!!
FOUR. I did a little shopping at Kirkland’s right before I had surgery and found this gorgeous canvas print on sale for only $20!! I knew it would be perfect for my guest bathroom. Bright colors and funky patterns give me life!!
FIVE. I started watching The Walking Dead on Netflix and I am pretty excited about it! It took a few episodes to really get into it but now I am loving it! I am in the middle of season two so please no spoilers!!

We cancelled our Netlix a few months ago and re-signed up then cancelled it again last week.. The reason? because we love Netflix, couldn’t stop watching :)

These are all great topics. I know my sons has been wanting me to watch The Walking Dead with him all weekend. For me zombies are not my thing but he really wants me to watch it with him . I will have to binge watch it to catch up with him.
