What’s in my Backpack – Lollapalooza Edition!

This post contains affiliate links.

Thank you Cottonelle® for sponsoring this post. Stay clean and confident while you rock out with Cottonelle® with CleanRipple® Texture at Lollapalooza in Chicago!

Lollapalooza was this past weekend in Chicago and I am so sad I didn’t get to go. It has always been a dream of mine to go and Chicago, attend the festival, and hear some amazing music! Chicago has been at the top of my travel bucket list for a while now. Ugh. So instead of waxing poetic about all of the things I wish I had done I am going to share with you what I would put in my backpack to take to Lollapalooza!

whats in my backpack

First things first- a backpack? Yes! I am so glad they back “in” because I am apparently a worst case  scenario type of girl and need to be prepared for anything so a small cross body will not cover it for me. HA!! But really though…

I found this cute Steve Madden Girl backpack locally but I found it online for you here! I think it’s technically a kids backpack but trust me when I tell you that it has more that enough room.

rainjacket

The first thing I always do when traveling or attending an outdoor even is to check the weather. It has been rainy a lot lately so a rain jacket is a must for me. I love this cute one from Marley Lilly! I am a true southern girl and if I can get something monogrammed I am going to. Is that just a southern thing??

InMyBackpack

Next up is everything else…since Lollapalooza is in the summer sunscreen is a MUST. I personally love Hawaiian Tropic because it smells ahhhh-mazing, it’s not greasy, and it really works. I also always carry a external battery, Spark to flavor my water and give me energy, my wallet because money, M&M’s for a snack (my fave), both lip balm and a bold lipstick, and Cottonelle® Flushable Cleansing Cloths with CleanRipple® Texture. Cottonelle® with CleanRipple® Texture is designed to clean better, so you’re clean & confident enough to go commando.

I know, I know. You are wondering why in the world I am carrying my own toilet paper with me and I promise you I have a good reason! Have you been to a festival or concert lately? Any large public event for that matter? Yeah, the bathroom situation is not good my friends. They are usually hot, stinky, and have one ply paper (if any). The horror!!! Can you even imagine being all hot and sweaty, going to use the bathroom, and getting toilet paper stuck down there???? GROSS!!

Cottonelle

Since I am in my early 30’s I can now fully appreciate what I use on my bum and right now I am all about Cottonelle® with CleanRipple® Texture. Cottonelle® with CleanRipple® Texture is a proprietary innovation on all Cottonelle® toilet paper and Flushable Cleansing Cloths with CleanRipple® Texture that is designed to clean better (than the leading national value brand). I have been using the toilet paper at home for years now but recently discovered the flushable cleansing cloths. They are perfect both at home and on the go and will definitely be in that backpack when I travel, especially at a concert or festival. Ya feel me on that one??

Hopefully next year I will actually be able to attend Lollapalooza and get to check out Chi-town!!! Until then…remember that Cottonelle® with CleanRipple® Texture keeps you clean so you can rock out confidently this summer!!

Didn’t get to attend Lollapalooza like me? No worries!! Enter the Cottonelle® sweepstakes for a chance to win an all-inclusive trip to Wanderlust 108 Festival in Miami on October 22 HERE!!!

Did you go to Lollapalooza??
Do you use Cottonelle® CleanRipple® Texture toilet paper or flushable cleansing cloths??

Lollapalooza looks like so much fun, I’ve never ever been to a festival and I wish I could go! Your festival pack looks perfect, and Hawaiian Tropics sunscreen is THE best! (Although, I might be biased because I’m from Hawaii… Haha)

I love Hawaiian Tropic for sunscreen. It really does have the best scent. And the wipes are awesome to have for just about any reason!

I love that you have M&Ms in your bag. I can’t carry anything that will melt in my bag in the summer because it will melt EVERYWHERE but I definitely keep snacks in my bag.

This is a cute bag. I can see myself carrying all over and using it all the way through to winter. I have never heard of Lollapalooza until now.

Great back pack gear for a summer music festival. We are Cottonelle wet wipes users here. I have never thought of keeping them in my bag. Good idea.

I am in a worst case scenario type of girl as well. You are very wise to carry the sunscreen and toilet paper. I hope you make it to Lollapalooza next year!
