I’m back!!! I feel like I haven’t blogged in forever when really it’s only been a week. HA! In case you missed my last blog post or aren’t following me on any form of social media I went to Ohio for a week to visit my best friend and grandparents. I had a great week…we shopped, binge watched some great tv, and ate some amazing food!!

Today I thought I would share a little bit of what I have been up to lately, both on my trip and just life in general. So here we go with what I have been up to currently…

currently

…I went to Red Robin for the first time ever and I loved it!! I got the mushroom burger with a side of mac and cheese (because apparently I am five) and I couldn’t finish it all!! I wish there was a Red Robin in central Arkansas.

…my grandmother and I binge watched the first season of Zoo on Netflix and I am now addicted! I have season two saved on my DVR and started watching it this past weekend.

…I also started watching Stranger Things on Netflix. I made a terrible decision and started watching it late at night in the attic bedroom at my grandparents house in complete darkness. Needless to say I didn’t get too far in the series but I will pick it up again during the daylight hours! HA!

…I ordered this GlamGlow Glamazing Supermud set during the Nordstrom Anniversary sale and I can’t wait to try it!! I have heard such great things about GlamGlow and I am down for anything anti-aging these days!!

…I have been killing my audiobook game lately (thank you 10+ hour drive both to and from Ohio)! I have listened to several Mary Kay Andrews audiobooks including The Weekenders, Savannah Blues, Savannah Breeze, Blue Christmas, and I just started Christmas Bliss! If you are into southern chick lit then MKA is your girl!

…I am getting ready to attend my first blog conference in a long time, Megaphone Summit! It is in NWA (North West Arkansas) and I can’t wait! It is in two weeks and is going to be so much fun. I also signed up for a photography class so I can finally start using my DSLR!!

…I also created this super yummy spiked version of Starbucks Carmel Apple Spice! I can’t wait for fall if you can’t tell…LOL! Full recipe to follow at some point this week!

Are you ready for fall??

Reeeeeeddddd Robin. Yummmmm! For real. Red Robbin is our favorite hamburger joint. It’s the best one out there. Every single thing they have is delicious.

The Zoo show is really good, I enjoy it. Stranger Things is also great, but not so great for watching in the dark in an attic! Haha.

I just read “The Weekenders” as well and I really loved it. I really enjoy the style of writing Mary Kay Andrews uses and I love losing myself in a great story!

I haven’t been to a Red Robin in a long time but I remember them having delicious burgers! I’ve been hearing a lot lately about Stranger Things so I’ll have to check it out.

I haven’t been to Red Robin for a long time. I think we need to head back and get some of those Root Beer Floats I have been craving!

Wish we have Red Robin here too. Would love to try what they offer. Yup, I’m ready for fall. Saw one red leaf yesterday at the golf course and it made my day. :)

We’re big fans of Red Robin on the road because they seem to really take care about their Gluten Free stuff. WIth a wife and son both with Celiac’s, eating out is usually more stress than it’s worth, but not here.

Although I have enjoyed the summer I am definitely ready for fall. Glad you had a good time in Ohio. I tried Red Robin earlier this year for the first time and the food was great.
