I don’t know about you but I find myself saying “I can’t even…” a lot lately. I mean there have been soooo many things lately that just annoy me and I literally text that to my friends multiple times a day. Ugh.
So today I thought I would share with you a list of things that annoy me…a list of things that make me say “I can’t even…”
ONE. Slow drivers. Y’all. I can’t even deal with that especially when I am on my way to work in the mornings because I am usually running late…so partially my fault but also don’t drive 65 when the speed limit is 70 in the fast lane!
TWO. Politics. I swore a long time ago to never talk about politics not this blog and I think I haven’t. I don’t even talk politics with my friends or family. I think it’s too controversial, especially this year, and there is enough politic talk on Facebook and at this point I am just over the whole election. So yeah, I can’t even deal with any more political talk right now.
THREE. Bloggers who only do sponsored posts. I completely understand about deadlines and that you may have weeks where you have 3 or 4 sponsored posts BUT I also don’t want to read a blog that is 100% sponsored content. It makes me wonder if you have any original ideas in your head because how could you honestly use and legitimately like that many products?? Every day?? No thanks. I can’t even…
That being said I do write sponsored content not this blog but I will only write about products I fully support and stand behind and probably use already. Trust me, I remember those early blogging days of accepting every sponsored post and product review that came my way, that’s how I discovered a lot of my favorite products today, but at this point in my blogging career I only accept sponsored posts from brands I trust or products I already love. Basically if I can’t be truthful or honest in my post I don’t do it.
Rant over. I can’t even…
FOUR. Facebook drama. Remember when Facebook was a place for college kids to connect and share pics? Yeah I miss that. I remember when you had to have a .edu email to join and you did nothing but post party pics and had actual conversations with your friends. Now everyone and their mama is on there and it’s nothing but judgy people and drama. When did Facebook become a place to be a bully? And when did people get so sensitive? It seems like every time I scroll through Facebook all I see is political drama, bullies, and people who get offended at every single thing. Why can’t we go back to the days of posting pics of our friends, family, and pets and people actually connecting?? I can’t even…
FIVE. I can’t even think of a number five right now because I’m still mad about Facebook drama. So I guess that means it’s time to end this post. HA!!
What makes you say “I can’t even…”??
Robin Masshole Mommy says
Slow drivers are the bane of my existence. Here in Massachusetts, us massholes have NO tolerance for people who can’t keep up.
Debbie says
Oops, you caught me on a week that I have three sponsored posts. That is very rare for me though, just deadlines colliding. :-)
Politics are very divisive this year. I try to avoid getting into “discussion” because feeling are running so strong. It’s not worth losing friends over!

I so agree with you on all your points. And probably on your 5th point once you come up with it! ;) I actually decided to get off of FB because of all the drama–both intended and unintended. How does that even happen?! Ugh!
Pam says
I get frustrated with slow drivers sometimes too. Especially if I am in a hurry to get somewhere. I try to plan to get stuck behind someone slow because it always happens to me.
Jeanine says
I’ve had just about enough politics! I’m not even in the USA and its all I’m seeing and hearing about. It’s crazy. Cant wait for all this election stuff to be over. I too say “I can’t even…” multiple times a day!

I am so sick of reading a lot of these topics on Facebook. More often than not I just have to walk away and deal with the real world because online can get heated.
William Sweeney says
I hear you on the facebook drama!! It seems to be really bad a lot lately, though it can almost be entertaining at the same time.
Liz Mays says
i can definitely understand the frustration with these things. There aren’t too many slow drivers around here but occasionally I’ll get stuck behind a slow construction vehicle in a no-passing zone.
lisa says
Yes except for the blogger one. LOL I just got done with Facebook drama. Its neverending.
Bella says
Haha I am with you on a lot of these points! Today it seemed as though no one had any where to be – such SLOW drivers!
Terri Beavers says
I usually don’t ever go to my FB wall, I do click on my profile to post though. I got tired of all of the drama too, and I’m guilty about voicing my opinion on the election coming up lol.
Chubskulit Rose says
Lol, I’d say the same on facebook drama, politics, and sponsored posts. You sahred the same sentiments with slow drivers with my husband, he hates slow drivers lol.
natalie z says
Yes. Yes. And Yes. I honestly am not sure which is the most offensive. right now all those things are working my last nerve!
Lashawn says
There is a lot of Facebook drama these days. I e just started to limit my time on Facebook. It’s working for now!
adriana says
Haha I say I can’t even a lot too! Slow drivers make me crazy, it’s always at the worst times too!!
Kendall says

I gave birth 4 months ago and “I can’t even” on people who’d touch or hold my baby’s hand without washing or sanitizing their hands first when they shouldn’t be touching them anyways because hello? babies put their hands in their mouth! ugghhh
lauren happel says
I cant even… There are so many opportunities in life to be positive instead of tearing other people down or complaining in general that blog posts that are whining drive me crazy
