There’s a First Time for Everything

This post contains affiliate links.

This past week has been a week of firsts for me. I went to s few new stores, tried a few new things, and of course I had to document it all here because, #blogger!!

First up my niece Paycen had her very first Spring Break and spent it with me (her mama came too)! We did a lot of fun things including going to the park, the Little Rock Zoo, the Outlets of Little Rock, Altitude Trampoline Park, and we even went to Hot Springs for the day! I had never been to the Outlets of Little Rock before so that was a first for me.

Here we are at the park…

When we were in Hot Springs we walked Bathhouse Row and went to Fat Bottomed Girls for cupcakes!! I had never been to FBG before but had always heard amazing things about them. I can honestly say they didn’t disappoint!

I think my favorite cupcake is the Ooey Gooey Butter and Paycen’s was anything with sprinkles! HA!

Another first for me was going to the “new Kroger” that opened last fall…HA! I don’t know why but I have put off going and I really don’t know why because I am obsessed now! My new Kroger has a fancy Starbucks, a sushi bar, a cheese bar, an olive bar, a salad bar, a hot food bar, a deli, home goods, and of course groceries. There is even a seating area that you can eat at with free wifi! I can totally see myself blogging from Kroger. I am not even joking about that, HA!

Speaking of fancy grocery stores I also finally made it to Whole Foods last week! My girl Rebekah came into town and we did lunch and then did some shopping. After hitting up Whole Foods we see that we should have skipped lunch and just eaten there. I did get an iced latte with irish cream and it was amaze!! I will definitely be going back there for some goodies!

So I guess those are all of my latest “firsts” and it also reminds me that I need to get out more! I am bad about getting into a routine and just going to the same places over and over and then I get stuck in a rut. Know what I mean?

Do you have a “fancy” Kroger??
Are you obsessed with Whole Foods??

Sounds like an excellent variety of firsts, ha! My obsession with Whole Foods has become insane, especially since they opened a brand new one around me. It has a wine bar, coffee bar and so much more. Who doesn’t want to drink wine while grocery shopping!?!?! HA!

Oh, you KNOW I’m obsessed with Whole Foods! The only unfortunate thing is the nearest one from where I live is about an hour away :( It looks like you had quite an enjoyable week with all your firsts! BTW I LOVE that there’s a cupcake place called Fat Bottomed Girls.

I had no idea Kroger’s could be so shee-shee. I adore grocery stores who include more than just your regular food stock. Having a sushi bar, Starbucks, and cheese bar sounds amazing.

I am obsessed with grocery stores, they are like a toy store to me. Lol. Thanks for sharing your firsts, looks like you had a fun time with your niece too! It’s always good to try something new at least once or twice a month! It’s refreshing.

We don’t have a Kroger around here but we did when we lived up north. It was nowhere near as big as that one though!
