I have to confess that I am normally not a huge fan of breakfast food. I am more of an “eat least night’s leftovers for breakfast” kind of girl. But on the rare occasion that I get the craving of fresh from the oven, scratch made biscuits I head on down to my local McDonalds.
That’s right, my local McDonalds has scratch made biscuits and this Southern Style Chicken Biscuit tasted like a little piece of Heaven itself. Also- I have a serious frappe addiction. But I’m sure if you follow me on Instagram then you have already figured that out by now. HA!
I actually have several local McDonalds I could choose to go to but my favorite is the Midtown McDonalds off University in Little Rock. It’s pretty new and one of only a handful of tribute stores in the country. It also has free WIFI. Need I say more?
I love the atmosphere at this particular McDonalds because it feels homey. I love to work in an environment that I can get both great food and ample space to work in. Luckily for me the Midtown McDonalds has tons of different seating options and I love that I can sit comfortably by myself or with friends if I want the company…and let’s not forget the frappes. Always with the frappes. #addicted
Isn’t this space just gorgeous?? I seriously got a ton of work done here the other day. I love the huge windows and all of the light and just how friendly everyone was here. The employees are always super nice and the other patrons were friendly as they drank their morning coffee and watched the news.
I can’t wait to use this space to work in when I am in between classes next fall. It is the perfect little break from life and yet I can still be super productive, even if I forget my laptop. Midtown McDonalds actually has a workspace set up with a couple iMacs for patrons to enjoy! How cool is that??
So the next time you have a little downtime or just need a great place to relax and get some work done you should head over to your local McDonalds. Take advantage of the scratch made biscuits and free WIFI. And don’t forget your frappe!!

Wow! If they had a McDonald’s like that around here, I would be there a lot more! I do love McDonald’s Sweet Tea. I could easily drink that all day long! If only my doctor wouldn’t keep telling me to lose weight lol. Dumb doctors!
That’s a cute McDonald’s store. We head out to McDonald’s, too once in a while for breakfast. I like their biscuits.

I love the modern look of McDonald’s. I am fortunate because the nearest McDonald’s in my neighborhood was recently refurbished to have the same modern furnishings similar to your pics! :)
Wow, that McDonald’s looks very different to what I see here! I haven’t been to one in several years though, been a while since I had some good fast food.
It’s been a while since I went to McDonalds, been avoiding the place. It’s nice though that they are serving healthy stuff now.
That is quite swanky! I rarely go to McDonald’s since I am a vegetarian, but I love to have their french fries every now and then.

I happen to LOVE McDonald’s breakfast, but rarely treat myself to it! That McDonald’s is amazing though! I really love the design aesthetic!

Now this is a really fancy McDonald’s. I’m feeling the decor and the computers, really nice touch. I’m a fan of Bacon, Egg & Cheese biscuit with a large sweet tea. :)
That is quite a fancy McDonalds. I am not really a breakfast too. I just don’t really get hungry until 11 usually. But I love their McGriddles.
We ate McDonald’s this morning. I should have ordered a Frappe.
I have never seen a McDonald’s that looked like this before. I love it! I will have to see if any of the Ottawa locations look like this one. I do like to use the Wifi at my local McDonald’s when i have time between appointments.
We were just at McDonald’s last week to celebrate the end of the school year. Our son loves McDonald’s and that was where he wanted to go. :)

It’s been years since I’ve eaten at McDonald’s but I do love the ambiance. I’ll head over there to work for a few hours every now and then – and the frappes are sooo good!
Holy cow, that does not look like any McDonalds I have ever seen before. And I can’t believe they have iMacs too! That is nuts! I love their biscuits, it is probably my favorite thing from Mickey – D’s.
Love how they have those Macs set up to use! That would be amazing if my store got those.
We are McDonald’s fan and breakfast fans as well. I hope those biscuits make their way here at McDonald’s in the Philippines.

My niece works at McDonalds. She says the biscuits made in her place of employment is made from a bagged mix. not from scratch. Your lucky! I never thought McDonalds would carry flour in their restaurants to do something from scratch.
I was in a McDonald’s similar to this recently and I was really impressed with their new look. I love the funky decor.

Beautiful design and great color palette! I don’t think that ours has been upgraded quite this nicely as of yet – don’t go often, but the last time I was there it wasn’t THAT nice. Very cool!

I haven’t had a Southern Style Chicken Biscuit in so long because I am never making it to McDonalds on time to get a breakfast. I don’t even know if they’re available here, but they are good.
