I am going to go ahead and apologize in advance for the photo overload…I was a bridesmaid this past weekend in my friend Elizabeth’s wedding and it was the most beautiful wedding I have ever had the opportunity to be a part of.
Friday was the rehearsal and rehearsal dinner and I wore a dress I’ve had for a few years that I found in my closet with the tags still on. I also wore one of my RocksBox pretties and I can’t wait to tell you more about them later this week!! The food was delicious and the drinks were even better!!
During the rehearsal dinner we got our bridesmaid gifts which included a monogrammed robe to get ready in, a pink pearl necklace, the perfect pink lipstick, and pink glitter Toms!
That night a couple of the bridesmaids and the bride stayed in the bridal suite and got super silly…
…and the next the morning we all got up at the crack of dawn to get our hair and makeup done. I asked for firce eyebrows and I think I got them!
And then we got dressed and I took a ton of selfies…of course! I mean, it’s not every day that I get my hair and makeup done by professionals and get to wear a pretty dress!! HA!
The wedding colors were champagne, pale pink, and Tiffany Blue. We had the most gorgeous bouquets of white hydrangeas and pale pink peonies!
And can I just say that I have the most beautiful friend in the whole entire world? She was the most beautiful bride ever…
I didn’t get any pictures of the ceremony because I was in it, duh, but I got a few of the venue. The wedding was held at Alda’s Magnolia Hill in Little Rock. It is the most beautiful southern plantation. The wedding was outside and the groomsmen rode up in a vintage red truck, the groom and best man canoed up, and the bride came up in a horse and carriage. There was a log sawing during the ceremony (the groom is from Germany and that is a German tradition) and doves were released. It was AMAZING!!
After the ceremony all the bridesmaids and groomsmen had to walk a red carpet and dance into the reception. Can I just say FUN??
The reception was held in a barn and it was breathtakingly beautiful!! Everything was just perfect!!
Elizabeth used to work with me before she moved to NWA and so a bunch of my work family showed up to celebrate!! They are the BEST!!
Instead of a traditional bouquet toss the bride’s bouquet was put in a birdcage and keys were passed out to all of the single ladies. Guess who’s key fit the lock? Yours truly!
After the reception was over the bride and groom ran through sparklers to get to their getaway car, which was a vintage car, and they drove off through a mini fireworks show! Soooo much fun!!
After dancing the night away I finally made it home and spent at least 20 minutes pulling all of these bobby pins out of my hair, LOL!!
I feel like I should be a part of the OITNB series, just call me Crazy Hair.
Overall I can honestly say that Elizabeth’s wedding was the most beautiful wedding I have ever had the honor of being a part of. I loved getting to be a part of her big day and I wish her and Oliver only the best in their new married life.
I am going to leave you with their super fun wedding favors!!

You were a beautiful bridesmaid!!! It looks like it was a beautiful wedding. I never heard of using keys and a birdcage verus doing the toss. But it sounds like it would be a lot of fun.
