Five on Friday

This post contains affiliate links.

ONE. I bought the most expensive pair of shoes I have ever bought last week and I love them. I have wanted a pair of Tory Burch Revas forever and I finally broke down and bought a pair. I blame a stupid boy, a bubble bath with Lush Bath Bombs, and wine for encouraging me to order them. My only advice if you want a pair is to size down a half size!

revas

TWO. Because of this crazy Arkansas weather I have had to stay in a hotel three nights in the last week. I live about 30 minutes away from the hospital I work at and calling in is not an option on snow days so the hotel life is my only option. I know people laugh at southerners in the snow but we really only get tons of ice which is impossible to drive on so it’s better safe than sorry for me. My drive home took me almost two hours last night. #OverIt

THREE. I made Hamburger Helper for the first time in a long time the other night and it was delicious!! I may or may not have some hamburger meat out defrosting to make more this afternoon…LOL!

FOUR. Tonight I am going to see Mary Poppins at The Rep!! I am solo excited!! I am ready to eat some yummy Loblolly Ice cream, they made a special flavor for Mary Poppins, and drink champagne afterwards with the cast!! I am soooo excited!!

FIVE. I am obsessed with these cute door hangers from Crafting and Cocktails. These are number three and four that I own, they are soooo cute!!!

Every girl should own a pair of Tory Burch Revas! They are classic and never go out of style. So good for you for buying a pair! You deserve it!! I LOVE Marry Poppins! It’s one of my favorite musicals. Have a great time!

I think my TB’s are also my most expensive pair of shoes. But mine are so damn uncomfortable and I’ve had them for years! They’re not leather, maybe that’s why. They’re like a python print and kinda look like cardboard (as weird as that sounds, but it’s the best way I can describe it). Lol.

I have two pair of the snake skin Reva’s.. and they aren’t comfortable at all.. I’ll buy another pair of Tieks before I get TB again. Try Tieks!

I’m not so into shoes, but purses are my weakness. I have wanted a Coach purse forever. I may just have to decide soon that it’s a good investment and make that purchase!

Those door hangers are really adorable. I made hamburger helper for lunch one day this week. Sometimes I just get in the mood for it. Cute shoes BTW.

I’ve always wanted some of those flats and a pair of Frey boots, but I could either buy the two pairs of shoes or stay 3-5 nights on a vacation. I bet you can guess which option I’ll go for! :) (Hint: my beat up old flats will be along for the ride.) You’re going to look adorable in them! And I hear you on the horrible ice the South gets–we’re just not prepared!

I almost bought Revas this week! The sizing info is so inconsistent. The reviews I read online said to size UP a size and a half!!! You say to size down. ACK!!

Too funny…I just ordered a pair of TB shoes this week too! I ordered them from Nordstrom’s and got some cash back through ebates! I got the caroline flats with the elastic. I actually ordered a 10 because of the sizing info. Normally I can get away with a 9 or 9.5 in flats but the ten’s seem to do.

This winter has been terrible for everyone. The hotel option is probably best for a lot of people. The hamburger helper, we haven’t had that in a long time and it sounds like a great idea.

Those are cute hangars. I have been couped up in the house with all this “Arkansas weather”. It really stinks, but like you, I would rather be safe than sorry.

I haven’t made hamburger helper in years and now you made me want to buy it again. We had a bit of snow here too, but it wasn’t anything terrible. Though the kids did have off of school for two days in a row so that was a little nice lol.
