These are the Days…

This post contains affiliate links.

Sorry I took a little mini blog break there. It wasn’t planned at all, I even had two whole days off last week in which I did absolutely nothing. I guess we can just chalk last week up to pure laziness.

Over my little mini break I have successfully planned three trips (two of which are happening this month…OMG!!!), watch American Sniper, gone back to the gym, and spent a ton of money. Ok, maybe not a ton but it sure felt like it.

February is my birthday month so I was buying myself a few “treats”…that is, if one can call new scrub pants a treat. I also finally broke down and bought myself a “fancy” toothbrush and a Garmin Vivofit. Target was having some major sales y’all!!

I think mentioned a few weeks ago but I am in the process of getting Invisalign and plan on doing a full post sometime this week telling you all about it. It has been a process for sure. That’s part of the reason I bought my “fancy” toothbrush. I will share that with y’all as well. As soon as I figure the thing out.

I started working out with a new personal trainer at my gym right before I got sick and started back just doing some cardio last week. With everything I have been doing for my Invisalign my days off work have consisted of going to the dentist, getting work done, and coming home and passing out. Now that I’m finished with that part I feel better and feel like working out again. I start working with my trainer again tomorrow. It also helps that I got the cutest new pants to work out in!!

I got rid of my cable service!! I just have internet, Hulu Plus, Netflix, and Amazon Prime Instant Video. It feels good and I haven’t really missed it. It helps that I bought a streaming device and can watch my shows on my big tv.

I feel like I have updates you on more of my life than you probably care to know about tub please know that I have some more in-depth posts coming later this week about certain things and maybe even a new recipe??

What’s been going on in your life lately?? Do you still have cable or just use streaming services?? Do you workout alone or with a trainer?? Have you gotten Invisalign and if you have what are your thoughts??

I think we all need breaks from time to time to refresh, rejuvenate and be lazy! It helps our creative juices flow!!!!

I think we all need breaks! Good for you for getting with a personal trainer- that’s how I made it past my weight loss plateau when I lost a bunch of weight.

WOW, you’ve got a lot of great stuff going on! :) My dad did the Invisalign system a few years ago, and he LOVED it. His teeth weren’t bad before–they just needed a little bit of straightening and evening–but they look awesome now. I wish I could’ve done Invisalign instead of those clunky metal ones, but alas, Invisalign didn’t exist in the mid-90s when I had braces! :) Also, I’m super excited about your trips–where are you headed!?

Invisalign are amazing but are a hassle! I had them while I was in college, and I had a love/hate relationship with them.

Also- I totally agree with you on not needing cable! I recently wrote a whole post on how we do without it!
