I Invented Post-Its

Ok, so I don’t really invent post-its but neither did Romy and Michele.

Anyway, I was talking to my friend Libby last week about “the good ole days” aka college, which was only about 13 years ago. First of all how can it be that I started college 13 years ago in the fall of 2001?? Where has the time gone?? Second of all why were we talking about “the good ole days” like they were so long ago?? Sure doesn’t seem like it.

Anyway, back to today….we were talking about all of the stupid stuff we did back in college which then brought to my attention that if we had thought to patent any of our “stupid” ideas we could basically be millionaires right now and be sitting on a beach drinking mai tai’s right now. GAH!

Let’s talk about one idea in particular that I am seriously kicking myself over.

Everyone knows that candles are not allowed in dorm rooms (or at least they weren’t 13 years ago) and so we got around that rule by buying mini crock pots and putting Yankee Candle votives in them and melting the wax so our dorm rooms smelled good. Sound familiar??

Yeah, that would be SCENTSY.

Yep, still kicking myself. What have you “invented” that is now super popular and would make you millions?

HAHAHA!!! First of all, love Romy and Michele’s High School Reunion. It’s crazy that I’m now starting to consider things in my life as “the good ol’ days…” that just makes me sound old, but I don’t feel old!!! How is it possible I graduated that long ago…Time flies!!

haha That is hilarious! I can’t think of anything I’ve invented, but I’m sure I’ve done something similar.

I have invented not a thing, but I LOVE that movie! Sometimes I feel like the only one who saw it because I do not know a single person “in real life” who saw it.

Haha! So cool! There are so many things that I have ‘created’ at home then see in the As Seen On TV sections in stores and honestly I’m just like…really!?! LOL

OMG LOL! I love this. My husband is the king of “patent” checking because he always thinks he is one idea away from a million. One of these days one of his ideas is going to pan out I’m sure of it. ;)

LOL! I bet you were kicking yourself in the behind! I haven’t invented or thought to create anything since I’m not a very creative person.

Every time I see some new little invention I always think, “Why didn’t I think of that?” I could have invented the heated car throw that plugs into the car charger. I promise I thought of it first. I’m always cold in the car with the hubs in the winter time. The seat heater keeps my bottom warm, and I can control my side of the car’s heat, but I’m always a little chilly. :)

Aww! lol I know exactly how you feel! My uncle was approached by the guys who started BlockBuster for some investment money and he laughed them out of his office. Then he watched BlockBuster stores blow up all over the country!!
