Newk’s Midtown Little Rock

Last Friday I got invited to Newk’s Midtown Little Rock soft opening for lunch. I LOVE to get invited to events and this one involved food so I was super excited!!

I went with with my friend Leslie who you probably remember from her guest post about Plexus Slim!

We got there early, at about 11:45am, and the place was already packed. Their menu included a couple sandwiches, a couple salads, and a couple pizzas. They weren’t doing the whole menu because they were training their staff.

I got the Grilled Shrimp Po’ Boy…

…and Leslie got the Spicy Chicken Pizza.

My Po’ Boy came with homemade cocktail sauce and coleslaw. There was also grilled shrimp in every bite. It was to die for!! I seriously loved my sandwich!! Leslie’s pizza looked amazing as well!!

The service was super quick and the staff was super friendly. I was impressed with everything I saw!!

One of the things I am most excited about is Newk’s Grab-n-Go station. This is a section of the restaurant that is like a to-go deli. You can literally walk in, grab a pre-made soup, sandwich, or salad and take it on the road with you. I think this will be great for days I’m at school…I have an hour and a half break for lunch and would love to just run in and grab some yummy food! It’s healthier than most fast food and cheaper too!

We grabbed some menus on our way out and I think my fave menu was the soup menu. Newk’s has certain soups on certain days and I have a list I can’t wait to try! I love soup!!

I can’t forget on elf my favorite things…the Newk’s cup! You get this and get to pick your own drink and let me tell you, this cup is HUGE!! You get to take it home with you and y’all know I am obsessed with cups lately…LOL!

I will definitely be returning to eat at Newk’s…hopefully this week!!
