My favorite accessory as of late has to be the statement necklace. I have never really been one to wear much jewelry but I seriously love these big necklaces! I don’t really wear earring much except for a some pearls or faux-diamond studs. I love bracelets but always forget to put them on. FAIL. I really wish I had a Michael Kors watch….maybe I will buy myself one for my birthday! I did make a promise to myself to buy a nice piece of jewelry….
But back to my love of statement necklaces…I’m always a little leery when I wear them because I’m not sure if I’m doing it right! Lately I haven’t really cared about “doing it right” and just started wearing them…and y’all I am in love!!
I love the colors of this one!! The aqua, gold, and pink are my fave!! The day this was taken I wore it with a denim shirt and khaki shorts. Casual outfit but the statement necklace kicks it up a notch.
I love all of the colors of this one. I got it for Christmas and I can literally wear it with anything. You can really dress these big chunky necklaces up or just wear them with a tee and boyfriends jeans and call it a day. That has been my favorite way to wear them. I wore this necklace with some jeans, a gray t-shirt, and a navy cardigan.
This is the newest piece in my collection! It’s actually from my hospital gift shop and was a whopping $5!! You just can’t beat that. I can’t wait to wear this one. I’m thinking maybe a black top so the color just pops? Suggestions??
I also have some big chunky pearl necklaces and a long necklace with huge chunky faux-diamonds. I have gotten soooo many compliments on that one…I need to get a pic of that one!

I have quite a few statement necklaces that I LOVE, but I’m just not sure I’m styling it right. I’m like you – I don’t wear flashy earrings, only simple studs usually and I never remember bracelets either. I think I’m just gonna have to throw myself into wearing these statement necklaces and eventually I’ll fall in love like you did :)
