Dear Winter…

Dearest Winter,

I am sooooo over you right now. I am over checking my weather app first thing in the morning and praying for numbers over 20. I am also tired of my Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram feeds being full of dashboard and weather app screenshots. I know it’s effing cold, I don’t need to be reminded.

I am tired of not being able to let Sophie girl play outside. She really loves outside and hasn’t gotten in a real walk in a long time. Poor baby.

I am tired of chapped lips, dry skin, and statically charged hair.

I am tired of rain that turns into sleet that turns into ice that makes me have to stay at work. Have you ever had to stay overnight on a cot in the hospital? If you have I’m sorry! If not you’re not missing much I promise. Unfortunately I am considered to be “essential personnel” and I have to go to work no matter what the weather. Suck.

Spring, where are you??!! Winter, go the eff on.
