What I’ve Been Up To Lately…

This post contains affiliate links.

Sorry about not posting yesterday…I had this super yummy recipe ready to post and then time got away from me. Oh well. I will save it for another day! I’m still on my soup kick if you couldn’t tell…LOL!

The last week has just been insanely busy. I worked at my normal job Friday and then went to Target and bought my first Christmas presents of the year…whoops! Saturday and Sunday I worked at my prn job from 3pm-11pm. My mornings were free but I spent those grocery shopping, cooking, and making wreaths for two of my work friends for teacher gifts.

Monday I worked my normal job again and had a student…yuck. I really try not to complain about having students because I remember being one and they need to learn but this one talked All. Day. Long. I had my Calculus Tuesday morning and really needed to study but I had to wait until I got home. Not cool student, not cool.

Yesterday morning I woke up with the birds and had to be at school to take my final by 8am. Whoever thought 8am would be a good time for a Calculus final should be shot. Just saying…

After my final I did a little shopping while waiting to meet Rebekah for lunch. I went to Marshalls and was honestly just doing a little browsing when this top caught my eye. It’s navy and a yellow-gold and very flowy. I normally don;t do flowy tops because I feel like they make me look bigger than I am but I really loved this one! I also scored this awesome navy cardi! I have a  thousand and one cardigans but do not own a navy blue one. Until now that is.

After purchasing above mentioned flowy top and cardi I met Rebekah at Chuy’s for lunch. I think that is our fave place to eat in Little Rock because I think that’s our third time to go since it opened…LOL! This time I got the Baja Fish Tacos. I am really not one to eat fish a lot but I seriously LOVE these fish tacos. Maybe because they are covered in Creamy Jalapeño Sauce??

We did a little shopping post lunch and even went by one of my fave ice cream places…Cold Stone Creamery!! I got my all time fave the Cake Batter Ice Cream with Pecans and Carmel…OMG!!! That is the stuff dreams are made of y’all!

After filling our tummy’s up we headed to the movies to see Dallas Buyers Club. I liked the movie and felt like I learned a lot. It was kind of weird in that I guess it wasn’t what I thought it was going to be but I really did like it.

So I guess that’s what I’ve been up to lately. It feels weird to be done with school for the semester. I’m not going to know what to do with all of my free time. HA! What free time? It’s almost Christmas, then New Years, and then back to school I will go. Thank goodness Calculus is over though!! Whew!!

What have you been up to lately??

First of all, I LOVE those wreathes! They are GORGEOUS! Of course, I’m loving your new tops too :) I’m so jealous of your blate…but I’m so excited because they are opening a Chuy’s literally FIVE minutes from my office. I cannot wait! I’ll be eating there ALL the time :)
