Monday Morning Gossip

This post contains affiliate links.

Happy Monday!!! NOT!! HA!! I wish I loved Mondays but considering I have to be at work every Monday at 6:30am I just can’t love them. Can’t. #SorryNotSorry

I had a fabulous weekend and today I am going to link up with Leeann for…

Saturday morning I got up at the crack of dawn and met up with two of my friends, the Elizabeths, and we went to Holiday House!!

Image

Holiday House is an event put on by the Junior League each year that is basically a HUGE shopping event. Local businesses and individuals can buy booth space and sell whatever they want. It is FULL of super cute stuff!! It’s like Etsy in real life!! Sometimes I buy stuff, other times I just get really good ideas. Either way it’s just really fun!

I actually bought a few things this year…

There are always a TON of booths with dips. This was my favorite by far and I bought 2 of them!! One for just me and one to take for Christmas!

Image 3

I finally found a leopard infinity scarf I love!!! I have been looking everywhere!! The print was either too big or it wasn’t dark enough. Problem solved!!

Image 4

I got the CUTEST new Razorback shirt!!! You can never have enough Razorback shirts!! LOVE the glitter!!

Image 5

And you know I had to get a Wine-a-Rita!! I got the Peach Bellini kind you mix in champagne…we tried a couple and this one was my fave. It is sooooo good!!!!

Here are some things I saw that I liked but didn’t buy…

$83? I don’t think so.

I have seen these hats at Hobby Lobby and can totally make that fabric flower.

I LOVE this!!!! I may have to attempt this one for sure.

After Holiday House we went to US Pizza Co for a late lunch…yum!! They have the most amazing salads ever!!!

After lunch I had to go to work for a few hours…yuck!

Sunday was a lay around the house kind of day. The most productive thing I did was go to the grocery store and then I made some Creamy Chicken Veggie Soup. Recipe to come later this week…

I love those types of events. You sound like me, though. I always think “if I can make it…I’m not buying it.” Even if I never make it. It’s the principle I guess. :) I love that leopard infinity scarf-I want one.

I’m being super picky with my leopard print scarf, have been since last scarf season and still haven’t found one I’m absolutely in love with. We had the same Junior League Shopping event last weekend and I only ended up with one thing but like you came away with so many ideas!! Great weekend :)

That sounds Fun!!! I have always thought about getting a razorback shirt. But I always stop myself because, I just don’t really watch football. But part of me is like well maybe I should just to support them and arkansas. but then I never get the shirt. lol That’s what I think about every time I see one I like. That one you bought I will admit is a CUTE one!!! I love glitter!! :)
