What I Wore Wednesday

I told y’all when I started back to school that I would start doing more fashion type posts. I have thrown a few outfits in random posts but today I wanted to talk about what I have been wearing lately and some of my must-haves for my wardrobe!

First up are a good pair or three of boyfriend  jeans. I live in boyfriend jeans right now. The weight of the fabric is perfect and I usually cuff them once and make them last through summer and fall. Then when it gets cold I just uncuff them and wear them like that. I like articles of clothing that I can get multiple uses out of. It’s easy on my budget and if it’s something I love I can wear it more often.

These are actually my fave boyfriend jeans!! I love the deconstructed look. You can dress them up or down and the fit is awesome!! I also love these Silver boyfriend jeans…they are just a normal boyfriend cut that doesn’t have all the deconstruction if that’s more your style (unfortunately I can’t find the link to these jeans…I bought them last summer. Sorry!) …

Another thing I wear a lot of is cardigans. And before you say EWWWW…I’m not talking about your grandma’s cardigans, I get mine at  Maurices, Old Navy, Lane Bryant, and just about anywhere! I LOVE cardigans!!!

So…now that I have talked you ears off about things I love wanna see what I have wearing lately?? Good!!

Jeans are the Silver boyfriend that aren’t deconstructed (obviously), the top is from The Loft, and the cardi is from Maurices!

Again, the jeans are my Silver boyfriend jeans, the cardi and top are both from Lane Bryant. I have found that a lot of women are afraid to shop at LB or even mention it because of the “fat clothes” stigmatism that is attached to it. I am not afraid to shop there and I for one LOVE the fact that they carry size 12 and up. Yep, that’s right LB carries a size 12 which is not even “fat” at all. LB also carries bras in a 36C and up. And not your grandma’s beige ugly bras either. LB has super cute bras in all different fits. I buy all my bras and lingerie there.

Moving on…here is on of my favorite outfits to date…

I got the pink pants and denim top at Maurices and the white cami at Lane Bryant. You can’t see it very well but I am also wearing an R monogrammed necklace from Buffalo Lane. I LOVE Buffalo Lane, they alway have some kind of sale going and shipping is QUICK!

I love this outfit as well!! I am really into orange lately and this cami pops under the gray cardigan! I got everything in the pic at Maurices last summer. Actually, they still carry the cardi and you can find it HERE.

So, apparently I love cardigans, boyfriend jeans, and layering. At least I am noting if but consistent.
