Best Weekend Ever

This past weekend my sister, BIL, and niece Paycen came up to visit!!! Paycen was in the Baby Miss Arkansas State Fair Queen pageant on Saturday and I convinced them to come up Friday and hang out with me since technically I had to work on Saturday.

After they all got to my house on Friday we all went to the zoo! I have only been to the zoo twice since I moved to central AR five years ago and one of those times was a couple weeks ago when I went to Zoo Brew with Rebekah. FAIL. Sweet P had never been to the zoo at all (she’s only 11 months old though so she’s forgiven) and my sister and BIL had never been either so we needed to go.

Unfortunately I only got one pic of the zoo itself…oops!

After checking out the zoo for a couple hours we were STARVING so we went to Chuy’s! Chuy’s is seriously my fave new mexican restaurant. We were able to get seated right away which at 5:30 on a Friday is awesome! Apparently miss P didn’t think they were bringing our food fast enough and thought she needed to eat our limes from our drinks…

That face is deceiving…LOL!!! She LOVED them!!

Baby P loved the limes, her mac&cheese, bell pepper, onion, and refried beans. I feel sorry for whoever had to clean up our table though because P is a very messy eater…HA!

Needless to say someone slept good on the way home from Chuy’s…

Saturday morning I had to go to work but I got off early that afternoon and was able to hang with the fam at the State Fair. I missed P’s pageant but heard she did great even if she didn’t win. She was robbed I tell ‘ya!!

P also got to ride her very first fair ride, the carousel! I don’t think she liked it very much at first though because all she did was hang on to her Daddy for dear life…LOL!

After that it was just hot and gross so we decided to go back to my house and chill. Silly P didn’t nap all day and as pretty fussy. I don’t blame her because I was pretty tired myself.

I think it’s safe to say Sophie is obsessed with P. She totally ignored everyone else when P was in the room. HA!

We all went to bed early Saturday night and I had to get up at the crack of dawn to go to work. BOOOOO!!! Everyone left to go home before I got home. :( It was weird to go home to a quiet house after having people over all weekend. I miss them. but I get to go see them and stay in a couple weeks because it will be time for P’s first birthday!!!! Crazy how time flies…
