Happy Monday loves! I hope everyone had a fabulous weekend…I had to work but I got to hang with the babies and some of my fave co-workers so it was totes worth it. Confession- I hated the word totes when everyone was using it a couple months ago but now I love it. Not even going to question that one.

The title of this post really has nothing to do with the post but I am going to talk about myself so maybe I’m cheap? Hmmmm…

I know Twitter was blowing up last night with the Miss America pageant but I want to ask on here, did any of y’all watch?? My Miss Arkansas made the Top 15 but then didn’t go on. I am still proud of you Amy!!

Isn’t she just gorgeous?! However Amy didn’t win, Miss NY, Nina Davuluri, did. I present to you, Miss America!!

 

First of all, can I just say that I loved her yellow dress!! I love that it wasn’t all blinged out and that she said Belle from Beauty and the Beast inspired her. Y’all know I’m a die hard Disney fan. I also love that she’s the first Indian Miss America. She is gorgeous no matter what nationality she is and I think she will make an amazing Miss America!! Go Nina!!! And can we get a Go NY for having 2 Miss A’s in a row?! I wanted to just post a pic from her crowning but we all know that crazy faces they make so I included two of her Miss NY pics.

Anyway…what have I been up to lately? School, work, and studying. And that’s about it. I suck, I know. I don’t think I realized how much time outside class work would take. Keep in mind I haven’t actually been to school in five years. Oops. I don’t thin I mentioned I am taking 15 hours this semester. Way to just jump back in the saddle Ricci. I am taking Business Calculus, Computer Literacy, Microeconomics, and an IT class ( I forget the actual name…HA!) THis week I have a power point presentation and my first Micro test. I’m nervous but I know I can do it!!

I told you when I started school I would do a couple more fashion type posts. I have been taking pics of my outfit each day and here are some of my most recent…

1. Top is from Old Navy, jeans are Silver Boyfriend jeans from Maurice’s. 2. Denim top is from Maurice’s, shorts and white cami are from Lane Bryant, necklace is from Buffalo Lane. 3. Top is from Swanky Sooie on Etsy. She has the cutest Razorback stuff!!!!! Jeans are the same from pic 1. Flip Flops are the same in 1 and 2 and are Yellow Box.

I am no fashion blogger but I am proud of myself for actually putting effort into my outfits each day. Normally I would just roll out in yoga pants and a t-shirt and call it a day. HA!

I know that you know that I am obsessed with pumpkin but I also love other fall scents too. Last night I plugged these babies into my Wallflowers and I woke up this morning to an amazing smelling house!!! YUM!!!

My sweet Sophie is getting a haircut this week. She needs one sooooo bad!! I am a bad Dog Mom for putting it off this long. :/

I’m also PUMPED about this coming Thursday because Rebekah and I are going to the Little Rock Zoo Brew!!! It is an event at the Little Rock Zoo that helps raise money for the Arkansas Zooilogical Foundation but basically I just want to sample craft beer and check out awesome zoo animals. HA! There will also be local food trucks there and a band. How fun?!
