Usher said it best when he said..
…these are my confessions.
Yes, even I have confessions. I know that I don’t share everything about myself on this blog because I don’t want this to be a place where I constantly vent or only have “poor pitiful me” posts. Because that’d not who I am. I am positive and like to think I’m an optimist. Most days.
Anyway, these are my confessions…
I LOVE my Razorbacks but I have NEVER been to a game. I have been to many baseball and basketball games but never to a football game. My school didn’t have football so I don’t really understand it. I watched my college team but never really “got into it”. I do love dressing up in my Razorback gear though!
I have never stuck with any diet I have ever tried. I have tried them all…Weight Watchers, Adkins, Body by Vi, HerbaLife, Adipex, and the list goes on. I always start off really well but I always slip up once and then it’s all downhill from there. It’s like I fall off the wagon and can’t get back on.
I am legit addicted to anything pumpkin flavored. This past week alone I have made Pumpkin Spice Coffee Creamer, had my first Pumpkin Spice Frapucchino of the year, and made Pumpkin Bread (recipe to come later this week).
I always have this feeling that I’m never going to figure my life out and I’m ok with that. I always thought that I had to have everything figured out by a certain age and I was afraid life was passing me up but I’m learning to not be so afraid and to learn to cherish each moment. I am so ready to get to my next phase that I’m not living fully in this one. I’m (slowly) learning to change this.
I am the Queen of Procrastination. I mean why do today what you can put off until tomorrow? Going back to school this fall has really shown me how bad I am at putting things off until the last minute. I recently learned that no, I can not read 3 chapters of Microeconomics in the 2 hours I have between classes.
I don’t like the Lord of the Rings movies but I LOVED The Hobbit. Sorry all of you LOTR fans!! I really tried to like it but I just couldn’t get into it. I’m counting down the days until The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug!!! December 13, 2013 for those interested…
I have really bad road rage. In high school my fave interstate driving song was “Move Bitch” if that says anything about me. HA!
I can’t stand fake people. Especially fake bloggers. There I said it. I have been holding back for a while but I seriously can NOT stand people who want to fit in soooo bad that they forget how to be themselves. You don’t have to be just like everyone else or buy something just because another blogger did. Unless you you legit like the product then you should totally go for it! I have found a TON of new products through other bloggers that I LOVE!! But if you are buying something or doing something just to get the attention of bigger bloggers then I feel sorry for you. Don’t try so hard. Remember why you started blogging in the first place.
Rant over.
What are your confessions??

I’m with you on the procrastination. Like right now, I should be working! haha
We need to get you to a college football game. They’re so much fun with tailgating and everything.
I’m so with you on the bloggers that are trying so hard to fit in! So many people are trying to do it now. Like get your own life and things you like.

Yes yes yes to fake bloggers!! Some of the things I’ve seen in blogland lately have just been sad.
Also, we now HAVE to go to a Razorback game. Seriously…it’s a necessity! The Mississippi State game (11/23) is the other War Memorial game. There are still some $60 tickets left!

I like your last confession a lot. For awhile I wasn’t sure where I was going with my blog and realized I was doing what other were doing for page views. I quickly stopped that and found my own direction with my blog. Now, I don’t even look at my page views. I don’t care if I have a ton or a few. I care about my readers and interacting with them. I care about writing about what I WANT to write about. :)

I’ve never understood why people want to wear all the same things, say all the same things, eat and drink all the same things, use all the same things, etc. What’s so bad about individuality?
I love to recommend what’s worked for me, and I like when others make recommendations, but I see just a lot of people trying to get acceptance through things. Which is honestly weird.

I too am pumpkin obsessed! I got myself to Starbucks the second I heard a rumor they might have the delicious pumpkin goodness I wait all year for :)

Love this post! Love the last confession too. That is so true. Some bloggers do things just to fit it and it’s sad. Sorry, I’m not buying $$$$$ lululemon clothes to SWEAT in. ;) love your blog!

it’s like you were inside my brain on that last confession.
i feel like a blood hound and i can sniff out people’s in-authenticity from a mile away. BE GONE!
