Happy Monday!!!
I am excited it’s Monday for once!!! Wanna know why??
I get to meet my bloggy besties in exactly FOUR days!!!!!
AHHHHHH….Thursday can NOT get here fast enough!!!!
Today I am linking up with Sami to tell you all about my “weekend”. I say weekend loosely because I had to work this past weekend but I did hang out with Rebekah on Friday and so today I am talking about that!
This past week Chuy’s opened in Little Rock and so Rebekah and I went there for lunch. I was a Chuy’s virgin until then but it a favorite of Rebekah’s so we HAD to go…and I am always down for mexican food!!
We only had a thirty minute wait which really isn’t bad considering Chuy’s had just opened earlier in the week. I got the Chuychanga (a chimichanga) with a side of Creamy Jalenpeno Sauce and OMG!! This food is AMAZING ya’ll!! I don’t think it really matters what you get as long as it comes with the Creamy Jalepeno Sauce!!!
After Chuy’s we went to the movies to see the Great Gatsby!!!
Seriously the best movie I have seen in a long time!! Some people get better with age and Leo is definitely one of those people. LOVE him!!! Everything about this movie was amazing and I wish I could have gone to one of those parties!
The music is incredible!!! I will definitely be purchasing this soundtrack!
I also want to announce the winner from my Smile Brilliant Giveaway last week! Thank you to everyone who participated!!
How was your weekend??
I wasn’t sure about going see the Great Gatsby, but now I wanna! I saw the perks of being a wallflower (kinda late on that one) and it was amazing!!!
Blogland has introduced me to Chuy’s. We don’t have them in the North/Midwest (at least not that I know of) and everyone always talks about it. I need to find one!!!
Leo really does get better with age. How does that happen?! I can’t wait to see it….glad it was so great!
You are just too gorgeous! I loved Gatsby too. And yes, Leo has aged very well.
I’m so excited BBC week is here!!!
I grew up in west Austin, which is where the original Chuy’s is. They opened one up in San Antonio a little before we moved there with the military (several years after I had to leave Austin) and I was SO excited. Next time, try the deluxe chicken enchiladas. They’re to DIE for!
ahhhhh I LOVE mexican food! it looks so delish :)
First, you hair looks great…looks like it is shining like it loves the spring time :) Second, the food looks AMAZing. Third, I am glad to hear that you liked the movie. I heard a lot of bad press for it and was disappointed. Now I know I am going!
