Good afternoon pretties!!
Can’t believe I’m posting so late today…oops!!
So yesterday I finally got to meet my fellow Arkansas blogger, Kim!! Kim is one of the nicest people I have ever met and it was like we had known each other forever!! Conversation was easy and I’m always nervous it will be awkward or the other person will totally Catfish me but Kim is the real deal!!
I don’t know if you have heard of Crystal Bridges or not but it is in beautiful Northwest Arkansas and is home to the largest collection of American Art in the nation. Right here in good ole Arkansas. Whoa.
Crystal bridges also has tons of walking trails, a restaurant, and hosts special collections. One of the special collections it is hosting right now is Norman Rockwell!!! I have been wanting to see this one since I heard it was coming out! Turns out Kim was too so yesterday I made the three hour drive to NWA and we went to see it.
It was AMAZING!!! Maybe next time I’m up that way it will be warmer and we can walk the trails! The whole area is just gorgeous!
After the museum we were starving so we went and got some yummy mexican food at Abuelos and then I made my way back to central Arkansas.
And I have to admit that I totally nerded out and checked out an audiobook from my local library for the drive. I mean I was going to be in the car for six hours why not? So I listened to The Overlander by Suzanne Collins, it’s pre-hunger games but still good! Now I need to find the others…
Kim, it was soooo great to meet you and I hope we can do it again sometime!!!

Sounds like you had a fun blate! I love Abuelo’s! My best friend lives in Oklahoma and it’s a must that we go there every time I visit.

I love that you just jump in the car and drive… take me hours to talk myself into driving an hour away. LOL.
I’ve never tried audio books. Is it just like someone reading the book to you?
