Morning loves!! I sure hope everyone had a fabulous weekend! I had to work so I won’t even comment on that but I did have a fabulous Friday so I will tell ya’ll about that instead!!
First up Friday I had to go to the allergy Dr. I’m not sure if I have talked about it much on here or not but I have severe allergies to pretty much anything outdoors. I had an allergy test last year (my first) and found out I was allergic to all trees, grasses, pollen, and weeds. So there goes mu gardening career! HA!
This past Friday was my one year check up and I had to get re-tested. I currently take Allegra and Flonase everyday and Allergy shots once a month to control my allergies. What a nerd right? Since I have been on that regimen I have not had one single allergy headache or had to take off work because of my allergies. AMAZING stuff!!
So anyway, on to my test! If you have never had an allergy test then you should know that they inject you with shots of allergens (my Dr did 64 shots, eight sets of eight…it’s really not as bad as it sounds) and see what you react to. They do it on your back. And yes, I am the nerd who takes pics and sends to my friends (Sorry Allie, Brin, and Jenn!).
So apparently I am still allergic to everything outdoors although some aren’t as bad. I’m just thankful that there is medication that can control it!
After my Dr appointment I had my second Blate with Rebekah!! We went to eat lunch at McAlister’s and we were soooo hungry we didn’t take food pics. HA!
After lunch we did a little BBC Charlotte shopping!! We both got some gorgeous dresses and I got a super cute Vera Bradley cross body bag!!!! I have been wanting a cross body bag for a long time and this one is the perfect size and is just perfect!!!
After spending all of our money shopping, we went our separate ways. I stopped by US Pizza on the way home and got a salad and pizza for dinner/lunch on Saturday. I LOVE US Pizza.
So that was my Friday/weekend, what did you do??
OMG that looks painful…I feel bad for your back!! That made mine hurt but yay for the blate after wards! I love the bad too! Super cute!

Sounds like a great weekend–besides the allergy test! At least there are ways for us to figure out our allergies. haha
I have always wondered what it is like to get an allergy test. I don’t know if I could deal with all those shots at once!!

Ugh that allergy test seems horrible! I have that Vera Bradley cross body bag and LOVE it!! I used it when I travel anywhere, it’s perfect!
I had a lovely relaxing weekend. I had to have allergy testing last years… it was terrible (but I don’t have allergies, thankfully)!

Is it weird that I’ve always wanted to have the allergy testing?? I have bad allergies too, but I just feel like it’s normal because I’ve had them my whole life.

Um that allergy test thing looks seriously awful. Like I might freak out big time if I had to do that! Yikes! You’re so brave. But I love that new purse you got! I’m addicted to cross-body purses, and that’s all I’ve used for almost three years now. They’re just so convenient!
I feel like I need to have that test done, although it does not look pleasing. My allergies are CRAZY in the spring and it would be nice to actually know what it is that makes me stuffy!
It STILL makes me itchy to see those pictures! Loving that cross body bag, too :) Can’t wait to see it in person at BBC!

OMG so weird they do that test on your back! Mine was done on my arms.
I was going to say that, I thought they did those on arms… i’m just glad i never had one done before! that does not look fun! -_-
