I’m going to make this post short and sweet since I am at work borrowing internet since my power is still down….BOO!! I am really not a fan of the cold much less being without power in my house since Christmas Day when it’s freezing cold outside. But I’m sure you are tired of hearing about that…LOL!
I am going to be making some changes on this here little blog-o-mine very soon. It may or may not include a name change, new blog design, and what I post. I will be doing more writing and less linking up. If that makes any sense…I feel like I am doing so many linkups lately that I am losing my writing style. I have been doing better the past couple of weeks but I will still do my faves on Mondays and Wednesdays. The other days be prepared to just get me :)
I will also be changing the amount of giveaways I do. I am about to go on a budget and I’m sure everyone knows that broke feeling you get after the holidays and as much as I LOVE a good giveaway I am afraid I will have to limit the amount I contribute to. I will still host my monthly giveaway for my oh so lovely sponsors (on the sidebar right there ——>) but I think that will be it.
I think I had something else I was going to change but I can’t remember. Oh well.
I hope everyone has had a GREAT Christmas and will have an even better New Year!!! I love you all so much!! Thanks for supporting me and reading my blog!!

We are on the same brainwave, love! I have been thinking so much lately about wanting to do more writing, less linking up & spending a bit less on the ‘blog budget. I’m going to have to do some time cutting back on sponsoring/giving away- not that I don’t love it because I really, really do BUT I need to start managing my money better and that all adds up real fast!
I do have to admit though I was sad about the linkups until I saw you’re sticking with your favorite Monday one ;) I’m excited to read more of what YOU write & I know it’s going to continue to be one of my favorite reads :)

I hit a point in 2012 where I was like “I haven’t even written anything in weeks!” and I decided to give up on so many link ups. They are fun and you find great blogs and it’s fun to just chit chat but I wasn’t writing anything raw and from the heart which is why I started doing my blog. I still like a good link up every now and again but I try not to get too caught up in them. I totally know how you feel and look forward to hearing lots from YOU. xo

I think almost every blogger (at least the ones I read) are ready to back off all the link ups and giveaways. I know I feel like I’ve lost myself by not just writing about what I want to write about. Blogging for myself is my #1 2013 goal.
